This past weekend was honestly unbelievable. I knew going into this tournament that the team I was using was capable of winning the regional despite my recent tournament results and gladly I came pretty close to making it happen. Hoping to defend LA and get my world’s invite!🙏
Didn’t think I’d pull it off with 100 points 2 months ago but through a hard grind I qualified for the Pokémon world championships in Hawaii in my first season. See y’all there and thank you to everyone who helped push me through the grind with your support it really means a lot.
This is the 3rd regional in a row that I lost to the eventual regional champion… Orlando to Wolfey in R3, Indianapolis to Rajan in Top 8, and now to LA champ Montana at R7. Kinda crazy tbh
Pretty disappointed in myself going 6-3 but felt physically in pain, nauseous, dizzy, etc etc throughout the weekend recovering from sickness so I guess it wasn’t too bad considering. On the other hand I need to top 32 the LA MSS for my invite now so let’s do this :)
6-3 at NAIC unfortunately but I got confidence in my skill and gotta focus up for worlds. Looking for a building group for worlds though 😅. I rolled so much Kyogre matchups which were so bad for me 😭
Ended 5-2 only lost to Tera ghost Zama mirrors… I’m starving man I literally couldn’t think my last 3 rounds. I need to win both games for my worlds invite tomorrow :)
Wanted to thank everyone in SoCal for being the best community I could possibly ask for pushing me to get better throughout the season. And of course my family and close friends who gave me so much encouragement throughout my entire time playing.
It was a fun to go to crossingcollectibles first VGC local yesterday managed to do well with Kyle Livinghouse’s team despite never playing it beforehand :)
Congratulations to all the SoCal locals who qualified for Worlds this season!! We'll be rooting for all of you in August 🥳

If you find DOU to be enjoyable then I’d say go for it. Us two weren’t even the only two douers in the tour. Leonard Craft, Zee Costa, Nick Navarre, and some others are DOU players that placed well in the tour.

Rough weekend in my early rounds but came out the regional this weekend earning 72 points placing top 4 in the PC, 13th in the MSS, and 6-3/118th in the regional. We’ll make Day 2 next time 🙏
