I remember #DobieWilliams executed by the state of Louisiana on Jan 8, 1999. He was represented at trial by an incompetent (later disbarred) attorney and was found guilty by an all-white jury. He was executed despite suffering from intellectual disability (IQ of 65).

I remember #TroyDavis executed by the state of Georgia on Sept 21, 2011. He was murdered despite evidence that he is INNOCENT of the killing for which he was sentenced to death and despite a massive campaign by hundreds of thousands of supporters worldwide. #EndTheDeathPenalty

I remember #GregoryRusseau executed by the state of Texas on June 18, 2015. He maintained his innocence for 13 years and accused the police of planting evidence to frame him. He was convicted and sentenced to death by an all-white jury. #EndTheDeathPenalty

1. I remember #GaryGraham aka #ShakaSankofa executed by the state of Texas on June 22, 2000. He always maintained his innocence and said "I'm an innocent black man being murdered today." He was executed despite the fact that 6 eyewitnesses said he was not the shooter!

I remember #NateWoods executed by the state of AL on March 5, 2020. He was wrongfully convicted because of official misconduct, coerced informant testimony and racial discrimination. 2 years ago an INNOCENT man was executed! To honor his memory we need to #EndTheDeathPenalty
