A semi-unexpected thing happened today just a few hours after landing in #Houston . Our little family grew to include this sweet baby. We adopted her from a no-kill shelter and she's honestly so stinking sweet. She's a nine-week-old terrier mix. Still figuring out a name.

I did a little experiment for the @HoustonChron today. It's as simple as setting some crayons on a canvas and letting them melt in direct sunlight. Dark colors were first to melt because they have a low albedo. What the heck is that?
