hero bans will often make us play wonky comps with little practice on it, less team based macro and strategy. worse teams will have higher chance to beat better teams, no good distinction between good and bad teams. just distinction between good players and bad players

Also, the meta this year is even not that one dimensional anyways like goats and jq. most of it was dive, but there was a variation to all the dives(dva, hitscan, diff supports, etc) and all the variations of the ramattra comps(poke, normal rush, hard rush, etc)

If you really want to have diverse meta like last year, that was only possible when tracer wasn't able to kill things so easily, then you won't have to only play dive comps that just tries to get kills with tracer or rush comps that doesnt die from tracers.

league of legends or other games can have it since they have same concepts or maps. they don't play rift herald and suddenly play dominion next map. we can have hero ban and only play kingsrow and have high level game play preparation on every comp, but thats not overwatch
