HRT at its core level is just swapping the hormones in one's body, which is more or less accomplished sufficiently by taking enough of the other hormone to the point where one's body naturally stops making the original one. that's basically it. modern formulations are very pure.

following are broadly 1) outdated, 2) using irrelevant studies, 3) barebones, and 4) does not cover the edge cases anyways. it doesn't help either how often they're just not trained for trans patients either. the "careful supervision" necessary is no more than routine bloodwork.
