Another reminder: keep your windows shut during the passage of Typhoon #KardingPH . Opening windows is only done on tornadoes giving a rapid decrease in outdoor pressure due to suction. For typhoons, it will only cause additional wind uplift forces that can destroy your roofs.

To recall, during one of the dreaded spaces concerning face shields, when being brought up about Doc Gerry Bagtasa's study on face shields basically telling that they are useless, the host just dissed off the research claiming it was not "peer-reviewed".

For everyone's info who listened to that dreaded space. Doc Gerry Bagtasa is a professor at UP Diliman who specializes in atmospheric sciences. He is the one who lead the research that determined that pollution from China make its way to the Philippines.

This case is also why, in airborne transmissions, that we shouldn't allow horizontal wind flows in closed spaces. A portion of the airborne particles would make it in the region between the face and face shield while the rest are deposited at the front.
