Don’t call your accountants office and setup a call because you received an IRS notice. Send us the notice. We don’t want you to read it to us or give us your interpretation. Then we can review and look at your file and actually know.

It is completely okay to start your business as a sole proprietorship. One need not rush to set up an entity (and certainly not elect s corp status without proper advice.) I see too many people starting with hardly anything and are convinced by "influencers" that they need to set

IRS IRIS system for 1099's is really nice! If you do 1099's at all for clients, I recommend it. Fast and easy and accepts a file to import multiples. I did a few this morning. Thanks again @JWellsCFO for the info.

After celebrating 8 years of being married, I'd like to give a giant F' you to Senator @tedcruz who introduced legislation on the day we got married to nullify it in the eyes of the State of Texas. I hope one day he sees the error of his ways but I highly doubt it.
