Wanna make more putts? 🤷🏻♂️ Try this. Many good putters put their lead hand on their lead leg and aim the club and the face with their right hand. This ensures the club is square. They then setup around that square club and make a reassured stroke knowing it’s square. Try it, many
This guy was told he’d never walk again…..he is just finishing a marathon. If I ever have guts like that to do anything in my life, I’ll be happy. Total and utter respect. He threw his walking sticks down for the last few steps. Incredible.

The most overlooked part of Cam’s putting and something I teach to many players, hand on left leg and set up around a square face n putter. It’s a total key.
Amazing footage to listen to Tiger talking about his swing “thoughts and feels”. I’m often asked if players have “swing thoughts” and most do! You’re goal is to get into automatic but the road is a simple conscious thought or feel. Fascinating to watch. (Vid

As pure as it comes 🔥 Great posture>Club outside hands at start>hinges club up>wind body>Shift n open left hip>rotate at impact. All in 1 second with little thought. Picasso at work. Vid

Soak that in as you’ll never see it again. Two of the most influential people to have graced the game. Total game changers. Thank you both for what you’ve done for our sport. Total and utter respect. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙏👌🏼
Lovely pitch mechanics from
@PaigeSpiranac
Body is the motor, arms hang on for the ride. Watch the aggressive hip and torso turn thru it, gets the low point ahead. 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼🙌🏼🔥She can really play 🙌🏼
Posted this the other day. Still find it fascinating. Handle raise and side-bend is the key to getting the attack angle positive with a driver 💪🏼🔥(lmk who to credit for photo)
Rory- what you can learn- Driver: 1. Get settled n pull trigger when ready 2.Move weight and pressure into trail side going back 3. Shift lower body and keep head behind it at impact 4. Hit it hard. Any one of those things will help, all four even better! 🔥🙌🏼
Yup, the “engine” of pitches and chips is rib cage and pelvis rotation back and thru. “Body rotates, arms hang on for the ride and wrists create the artistry”-JY. Notice it’s “wide” back and how much right arm goes across body thru it. Good things to copy on a pitch.
Some people can make the complicated look sooooo simple! Minji Lee in action. That’s as good as any male or female player that you’ll see. Beautiful body motion. Core winds up to move the L-shape of the club and arms. Upper and lower body separate and shift, pulling the L-shape
Chilli 🌶 dips in your chipping? 🤷🏻♂️ I’ll fix it in 45 seconds or your money back…..wait…..you didn’t pay anything for this Tour level advice…..what?…🤷🏻♂️🙄😳🤫
Colin Morikawa- What you can learn. 1.Pressure and mass shift into trail side going back 2.Re-centres as goes to top 3.Big mass and pressure shift in transition 4.Left leg snaps to allow body to open and move out of the way. Result: Hands ahead, shaft lean, ball control 👍🏼
This is how a swing flows if you’re a finely tuned athlete with a well sequenced golf swing. Unfortunately most of us can’t move like that but we can sit back and admire the absolute poetry and art 🙌🏼🔥👍🏼
Chipping- “The body is the motor. The arms hang on for the ride as the wrists create the artistry”- JY. Tiger at Augusta now, standing close and open at address. Watch the glove in back pocket as the motor (hips) gently rotates. 👌🏼 two different releases here as he hits subtle
Ok, do you come “over the top” or get your downswing “steep”? Causes all sorts of issues from slices, to toe strikes to cuts, pulls and everything inbetween. 💀 death move. Here are four ways people do it and four SIMPLE SOLUTIONS n drills. Film it on your phone…which are you?
Fascinating to watch the tempo differences. But there’s a common move coming down. Lower body starts first by shifting. Then body rotates. Then lead side extends. This creates a catapult effect for the arms and club to speed through the ball. (Vid

boys! How to-Draw: aim right, close face, swing right, rotate club thru for more draw. Fade: Aim left, open face, swing left, hold club open in release. Straight: Aim square, swing, hope 😂🤷🏻♂️
You gotta “over-do” a feel to get it for real. Here’s a drill that’ll help SO many. Push the pelvis out of the way to give the arms time and space. Try it at home!
Yep, in a pitch and chip the body rotates back and through. The arms hang on for the ride and the wrists create the artistry. Look how around to their left the finish goes. Some good things to copy there. 🔥
A regular guy trying his best under an intense spotlight he’s never experienced. He’s got my total respect rather than the judgment many of you have disappointingly displayed tonight.
How the driver shaft raises in highly competent drivers of the golf ball. This raises the attack angle and keeps spin down amongst other things. See my live lesson in my feed to see it in action 🙌🏼🔥⛳️
One of the best “classic” swing styles you’ll ever see. Geometry, sync and efficiency are pretty perfect. Many of my ideals in it. None of this contrived, complicated match-up stuff that many are throwing into the game. Club works up simply (not too much arm depth), lead wrist
Tigers main putting drill. He’s been doing it for years. Helps sync of right arm, toe release and Center strikes. Many players have a go-to drill in full swing and putting that keeps them on track and they do religiously. Amateurs don’t 🤷🏻♂️🙄 (Vid

Only golf can get so bent out of shape over clothing 🤷🏻♂️😂🤦🏻♂️Here’s my position, joggers and hoodies appeal to the next generation that’ll carry our sport. Im all for inclusion and modernising it for the long term health. Long live hoodies and joggers. I’ve got both coming from
Come over the top or get it steep? 🤷🏻♂️ It’s often the pressure shifting into the trail toe too early. Understand pressure shift using this simple drill that you can do at home and you’ll fix it once and for all 👌🏼🙌🏼
If you struggle with the strike of your irons, this image might help. Watch how his arms are pretty straight throughout with a gentle fold of trail arm on way back and a hinge of his wrists. Arms straight thru it. See many amateurs losing arm radius or pulling arms in at impact.
In his own words- Here’s a shot we created many years ago which is now en vogue and more mainstream.

Yep your body rotates back and through in pitch shots. Arms hang on for the ride, wrists create artistry. Watch how the right arm works across ribs on way thru. All good things to copy.
A common move of solid iron players. Shift the body towards the target as you reach the top, then spin at impact. Watch his body relative to the golf bag in the background 👍🏼🙌🏼 Vid
@CastlemanGolf
Joining me in the voice of reason. Even Bryson says all this contrived internet coach garbage isn’t correct! 🤷🏻♂️😳We don’t see many players doing it. Instead they stick to physics, facts and logic. Your arms lower to shallow with minimal external forearm rotation, minimal, infact
Let’s face it, very few of us can move this athletically. But there are still things you can learn and take to your game. Watch his hip and rib cage coil going back. Look how the lower body starts the downswing. Lastly, look where his head is at impact! Vid
@bobgrissett
I post this every now and then to illustrate the differences between the iron and driver swings. You’re hitting the iron off the ground with a shorter shaft and a driver off a tee with a longer one. This creates differences including opposing attack angles and low points. 🙌🏼
Stand up in your downswing? Strike your irons poorly? This will help, I guarantee it. The smallest moves can make a huge difference to the chain of events. Watch this and do this drill! 🙌🏼👍🏼You’re welcome 🙌🏼
The driver and iron swings are very different. Here are some of the key things. The thing that makes them different is the fact that the ball is on the ground with the iron and on a tee with the driver. Both need shallow downswings remember. 👍🏼
This pitching style produces high spin and predictable trajectory making distance control easy. Goes like this Set up: narrow stance, hands and ball position neutral, clubface slightly open, weight hint left. Swing: Rib cage rotation is the engine. Wide back and through so club
Rory driving it better. I hear he’s shortened his driver. I did this with several players. Reasons: 1. Shorter makes it easier to Center strike and goes further 2. Psychologically when you look down it looks n feels like a 3 wood n more controllable. Try gripping down, you’ll
Rose Zhang is like a machine off the tee and one of the best drivers, male or female. What can we learn? 1. Long, wound and rhythmic backswing. 2.Rotation of forearm and wrist in transition to ultra-shallow it 3. Sidebend and rotation at impact with path going up and to the
Tight lie chip shots can be brutal 😳With a set up change and a key move thru it, you can ensure good contact. Same applies on wet lies. You’re welcome 😇
Have you noticed how many Pro’s fade the driver? This is somewhat of a faders course, but in general this is a common shape off the tee. Why is that? How do they keep the spin, launch and land angle down 🤷🏻♂️ Interesting. Let me know your thoughts….
Followed Tiger for 9 just now. He’s in great pain, wincing when his back is to camera. So sad to see as his swing looks great. He has a real hobble when he walks. He knows he’s great but his body won’t allow him. I wouldn’t be surprised if he WD’s. Guts keeping him going and the
Cheapest training aid ever which can help four key things that bug you…..First one is early extension and thrust coming down. Next few days I’ll show you how to stop spinning from the top, How to raise your driver attack angle and hit down on an iron. All with a water bottle as
Short Pitches: “Body is the motor, arms hang on for the ride and stay in sync, hands and arms create the artistry”- JY. Watch how the body rotates back and through. The trail arm works across the body as it rotates thru. This helps the low point move forward and attack angle to
If you get a wear mark on your glove like this, it’s time to change your grip. Holding it in the palm costs you power, speed and accuracy. Get it in the fingers! 🤷🏻♂️🙌🏼👍🏼Thanks
@gregory
.troy for being my video guy 😉
Key move alert. A common denominator of all great drivers of the ball is the fact that the head of the club is behind the grip and “shallow” coming down. Shift your body and shallow club. (Vid
@bobgrissett
give him a follow)
If you come over the top or steepen your downswing, here’s a little drill I made up the other day.Right Hand in small of your back. Flatten left wrist to get club laid off to help shallow. Turn hips then push hand on your back with your pelvis. Add the club, bingo, new golf swing
Some cool drills you can do at home: 1. Hip and mass movement in transition (exaggerated) 2. Sequence 3. Stop hips spinning and right knee getting active in transition 4.Trail arm stability at impact 👍🏼
Jason Day swinging better after working with my former assistant coach Chris Como. Reduced his pelvic thrust considerably amongst other things. Only a matter of time before he wins imo.
How to pitch it like a Pro. 1.Narrow stance, pretty close to the ball 2.Ribs and hips rotate and are the motor 3.Arms hang on for the ride as club goes wide back n thru 4.Rotate left on way thru and keep clubface at you Vid:
@shortgamechef
Many poor ball strikers move the ball back to try and meet the low point. This perpetuates no dynamic shift and makes the low point stay behind the ball. Good players have the ball forward like Hovvland with a 9 iron here. This creates a “dynamic ball position“ which encourages
One of the greatest long range shots you’ll see. But when I watch it from a technical big-picture perspective two things stand out: 1. The club and arms are never stuck or trapped 2. The body mass is out of the way on the way thru. Two good lessons there. Freewheeling I call it

@elonmuskADO
Twitter as it goes with “Tweet” and has become part of societal vernacular. Secondly “X” is a letter and when said in isolation, makes no sense.
Great drill if you “stand up” in your swing 😜🔥🙌🏼: So many people “stand up” in their downswing. It’s a distance and strike killer. Try pushing an object like a chair or golf bag with your butt. Works like a charm. You’re welcome 😇 🙌🏼
Here’s a great “big-picture” feel if you want to stop slicing or coming over the top. Get it steep going back, then loop it shallow coming down. Make practice swings like Hovvland and Finau, it’s way better than shallow to steep! Vid
@rangekings
Just plain old inconsistent? 🤷🏻♂️Your right arm might be the issue. right arm structure and positioning is a key component of great ball strikers. Film it on your phone and see how you compare to this.
Max: What you can learn. 1.The tempo and beat up on way back 3.Wide and high at top 4.Forward bend increase in transition giving arms room never stuck 6.Body rotates at impact Great job

Sometimes I see an image and wonder why we all don’t do it! 🤷🏻♂️Looks so simple. 1. Wind up with arms infront of body 2. Separate upper n lower body as arms come down quickly 3. Spin out of the way! 🤷🏻♂️
In my view that’s one of the greatest swings you’ll see. Great geometry and wind up going back, nothing too contrived. Coming down, shallows and speeds up the arms as he drops his right side. Then rips open his body and extends left side. Aggressive tempo too. Try that move from
Get a wear mark in your glove? Odds are pretty good you’re holding it in your palm. Here’s a good drill to check. You’ll save a fortune in gloves and play better! What’s not to like? 🤷🏻♂️🙌🏼👌🏼
Let’s face it, none of us can move like Rory 🤷🏻♂️But we can learn some stuff that you can do within your capabilities. See how his body “bumps” a hint at the start to move weight into back foot. Then shifts back to front foot by separating upper and lower body which is the tricky
If you “spin out” with your hips coming down, the pressure goes quickly into your trail toe and lead heel. This drill, lifting those two points encourages a “diagonal” pressure shift or a surf, which keeps the hips closed a fraction longer allowing the arms to shallow.
Little rehearsal swings and feels can groove a new move. Lovely here. Arms down quick as left hip gently opens. Focusing on keeping the face square through it. 👌🏼👍🏼 Try it at home. Vid:

Swing change of the day. Torque is how you’re twisting against the ground basically.Changed this guys swing into an athletic move in five minutes and increased his torque from 64% to 100% along the way. Oh, changed his dynamic loft to lower too.
