Adam Silver's NBA continues to clown itself. A superstar can get ejected for the slightest thing (exhibit A, and Giannis's ejectiong the other night exhibit B), yet they go easy on Draymond Green for violently choking Rudy Gobert.
@witchernetflix
Your writers mocked the material and one of the few good things about the show, the lead actor, quit. Why would we watch this train wreck?
@SportsCenter
Notice how ESPN makes this about the Lakers and not the Nuggets? They just can't stand it that their golden child is getting blown off the floor.
@MrEAnders
I just watched this interview. What an absolutely massive failure of journalism. You can tell that David thought the entire thing was sketchy, but there's no real journalist here. It's almost like an ad for the company. Freaking embarrasing.
@LegionHoops
@GilsArenaShow
I swear, these dudes didn't start watching basketball until 2000. They used to call Magic Johnson "Tragic" Johnson because of some playoff issues against the Celtics. Kareem might be the most criticized NBA player in history. Jordan was constantly getting compared to the greats.
@GottliebShow
There is truth to this. Jokic had another historic year...he dictates everything about the game. He's the best player on the planet. The moment Perk said what he did, the conversation became too toxic, and I think that subconsciously affected the voters.
@CNN
This is uniquely an American problem that our society refuses to accept. We are obese and unhealthy and driving up medical care for everyone because of it. It’s a health crisis that too many people want to gaslight the rest of us into thinking it’s normal.
@biasedwizardfan
@TheNBACentral
@omarisankofa
It depends on how the insurance company defines a pre-existing condition. They might or might not pay for the treatment depending on a few factors. America’s health care system is a freaking disaster.

@wojespn
Good! The Blazers came to their senses. If a trade doesn't make sense, don't trade him. Dude signed a contract. The Blazers have no obligation to send him where he wants to go, especially when that team doesn't have equal trade value.
@F1Subreddit
I know all you reddit mods think of yourselves as a bunch of Che Guevaras and reddit is your Cuban revolution, but nobody is on that website for you guys, and you're not nearly as important to that website's success as you think you are.
@BillSimmons
There is just no way Denver can beat the refs and LA if the games are close at the end. The NBA is desperate for the Lakers to go to the finals. They won’t call fouls on Lebron or the Lakers if they can help it.
@playRedfall
I found your twitter just to see if others found this game as awful as I did. A popcorn machine? NPCs whose entire contribution is "hmmm?" Graphics from a PS3? Enemies that shoot in the wrong direction? One gun that can kill anything? Lazy & disrespectful.
@BronGotGame
@TheHoopCentral
@DarthVoita
Because Stern's NBA covered up that entire scandal. They never addressed any of it outside Donaghy, and he contends to this day that other refs were involved.
Adam Silver isn't going to touch it either. He's worse than Stern.
@SharpFootball
I couldn't stop laughing at that last play where Mac ran around for an hour; meanwhile, the Bills' defense is barely jogging after him. Then Mac just throws it away. That dude is terrible. I don't care how bad the play calling is. He's legit worse than Baker.
@MarcJSpears
Hey Marc, do you take bets from random people on twitter? I'll bet you $50 he doesn't lead the league in scoring. I accept venmo and paypal. I'm 100% serious.
@mikegalsworthy
I've never seen someone who is trying to do right in the world get so much hatred. It reminds me a lot of Malala Yousafzai, who challenged the Taliban's power structure. I think the same thing is operating here.
@RealSkipBayless
I am calling this now: Denver will win this series and Jokic will be MVP, but Skip is going to say that Gordon was the MVP. You watch.
@Espngreeny
Wentz wants to play for them. How bad is the organization that they are too stubborn to call him back? He might not be very good, but he's light years better than Wilson. He wins that ugly game against the Pats today.
@RealSkipBayless
@undisputed
It’s bad enough that you only cover four topic multiple times a day, everyday, but for you to just blatantly insult your coworker like that is an embarrassment. Shannon needs to leave that trash show for good.
@ProFootballTalk
They didn't "get away" with a helmet removal. The ref told him to put the helmet back on. If the refs can't make a judgement call, or give a warning, on an issue like that, then how can you possibly expect them to do their jobs with any sort of competence?
@haralabob
I've been saying this forever. He's the best player I've seen since Bird. He sees the game the same way. It's like he's a step ahead of everyone else all the time. And he definitely deserved his third MVP this year.
@imommiex
@BleacherReport
And you think that's enough? He's got a history of violence and the NBA has always looked away. 5 games? Ja got 25 and deservedly so. But the NBA protects Draymond, and I'm not sure why. He should have been suspended for half the season.
@shannonsharpeee
I think we all knew this was coming. The show has gotten so bad over the last couple of years, with four topics dominating the rotation every day. And then Skip lost it this year. I think Shannon saw the writing on the wall and got out before it tarnished his name.
@LeChina17
@SportsCenter
Why was this tweet liked so many times? Jokic leads in Vorp for this playoffs and has had the highest vorp in the regular season for the past three years.
Does this guy even know what vorp is?
@bykevinclark
This was the one scenario they can't afford, to be down by 7+ late in the game. No way do they come back on the 49ers now. We all knew the Chiefs would need to score at least 27 to win this game.
@GetUpESPN
@Realrclark25
Hey ESPN, I'd *also* like a nice contract where I can spout hot garbage on television, regardless of my credentials. Where do I send my demo?
@FirstTake
@McNuttMonica
So she just ignores Doc’s history of losing?
Why do people stick up for Doc? He’s going to get another coaching job (again!). He just can’t stop failing upwards. I truly don’t get it.
@nytimes
Lots of upset/trollish people in this thread. 99% of them don't live in Florida nor do they care about Disney.
Florida takes (another) huge L, losing jobs because their governor is such a snake.
@Lakertalk
@Purpl3andGold
@KevinOConnorNBA
Clearly you guys saying that Denver "won't shoot like this again" didn't watch Denver this season. This is how they play. They make everything. They don't get blown out. They just swept the best defensive team in the league. Miami about to find out.
