@earthlybump Getting beached, as it's called, is usually a DNF because the rules state, that if a car cannot continue under it's own power, it is considered to be retired. That translates to Marshals not being allowed to assist a beached car in getting back on track.

@KelseyLaughland That's the medical car. It follows the grid for a little bit to be able to be on scene quickly in case of a lap 1 crash, which is likely. Depending on the track it either completes a full lap or turns off at a service road, and makes it's way back to the pits.

@Megpembleton In reality, the two concepts are the same, the difference is where on track it happens. The car in front punches a hole in the air, so to speak, and creates an area of lower pressure behind the car. This results in the car behind having lower downforce.

@emklinea Teams are not allowed to do private testing (anymore). All testing goes on at the official pre- and post-season testing. Teams are however allowed two filming days (capped at 100km driving each) and two promotional events (capped at 15km each) during the season.
