Accomodations costs money so if you're serious about making spaces accessible, you'd better find a way to work that into the budget bc I'm tired of folks saying it's too expensive to get interpreters, accessible spaces, etc when that should be the first thing you confirm

@offbeatorbit I mean that didn't say it definitively, it's shown an increase. Concerts are also literally cancelled due to poor sales bc people are frequently sick with covid, as are the artists . So many articles show this. And there are endless reasons as to why cancer rates increase

We're never getting anywhere and never gonna be free if your politic is limited to "be nice to me and my besties and we'll enjoy our comforts away from you" The yt cc community is so insular and ready to go for anyone, but the second we try to bring up racism it's crickets
