Sky commentators talking like Liverpool are replacing Salah with a couple of kids
Nunez, Jota and Diaz cost £170m and they then brought on another £50m forward
A true underdog tale
Richarlison sold for £60m is on 10 league goals
Gordon sold for £45m is on 9 league goals
Neither have been replaced
The boo boys need to find a different scapegoat
It's not Dyche's fault that we're not scoring goals
We've won 35 points on the pitch this season
That would have kept us up last season and we still have 7 games to play
I'd like to give some credit to the job Dyche is doing under extreme and unprecedented circumstances
Went to Wolves
Just had a quick scan on here
Why we do we always have to have a scapegoat
Wolves played very well
We were playing our 4th game in 10 days using virtually the same 11 players
We had a very bad day at the office, it happens
Now to recharge the batteries
I thought Andy Madley, the ref, was excellent last night - he didn't stand for any of the usual big club petulance
Head and shoulders above Anthony Taylor's erratic performance on Sunday
As someone who knows a bit about reffing, I know which ref I'd have going to the Euro's.
@jpends_
Are you the authority on football knowledge ?
Sounds quite arrogant
It actually looked a better save live but with a header 8 yards out and a yard away from the keeper I'd be disappointed if Pickford had let it in
He does manage to make ordinary saves look spectacular though
Some Everton fans must have loved the last 10 mins of yesterday's game.
Dyche took over a side on the brink of relegation, made a £120m profit on transfers since Lampard was sacked, yet fans are surprised we're struggling
We will just need another fire fighter if he's sacked
Not a lot of love for Dyche from the Everton fans all because he's not bringing Erling Simms off the bench.
Yet the Everton fans loved Lampard who was the worst Everton manager in my lifetime and was taking us down
Funny old game
People can criticize Everton's spending all they like - I'm our biggest criric, we have absolutely wasted £600m+ on players not worth even £100m
However despite no Salah, Liverpool's starting line up still cost nearly £400m
Is it a big shock they beat Bournemouth ?
@johncrossmirror
I was refereeing a game
Centre half says to me "ref I think you are having a bad game"
I said "mate, you are playing centre half for a team losing 8 nil and you reckon I'm having a bad game"
He hadn't agreed with a couple of offside decisions and I had no assistants
After Sunday 13 of Dyche's games will have been against the top 12
Only 3 games against the bottom 8
17 points from 15 games after taking over a side with 1 point from 7 games
Who'd have thought that after Brighton at home we'd end up beating them on 6-5 on aggregate !
Made it to Stamford Bridge
Season ticket holder for 45 years
1st away game was in 1979
Seen us play in Ukraine, Norway, Portugal, Italy, Germany
Hopefully, I'm considered worthy enough to be here tonight

the student loan seems very straightforward to me and I left Uni nearly 30 years ago. Its a worry that our graduates don't seem to be able to understand it. Its like an additional income tax that you stop paying when you've repaid the debt (unlikely) or after 30 years
@Benjwinst
Some fans just don't get it.
You can't consistently sell your best players, reinvesting less than half the proceeds and expect to compete even in midtable regardless of who the manager is
@DaleJohnsonESPN
It's a nailed on yellow
Just shows the difficult job refs have if an independent (although you do wonder how independent they are) panel are split in their voting
@refsupportuk
Why try and defend the indefensible
The refs are professionals, earning a decent wage, but that performance was horrendous
This is the weakest panel of refs I can remember
How Attwell made it past his phantom goal is a mystery
@ALANMYERSMEDIA
12 months ago Lampard, who completely out of his depth, had Richarlison, DCL, Gray and Gordon as his forward options
Now we're arguing over whether Maupay or Simms should start
We have no players who can hurt an opposition
@SkySportsNews
Let's put it this way
It wasnt as obvious as the penalty not given at the other end of the field in the last minute for Carraghers foul on Lescott
As for the Kuyt karate challenge
Worst display of refereeing I've certainly ever seen was in that game
@refsupportuk
how do you feel about the 7 Man City players throwing a tantrum in the face of the referee and the referee letting them get away with it ?
I was at the game - I was expecting at least 2 or 3 players to be booked but instead he gave them what they wanted and then booked Pickford !
@MMc1878
Unbeleivable isn't it
A high pressured game every 3 days yet they dont get any injuries
When we play them on Sunday they will have played 8 big games in 3 weeks - it will be our 2nd game in 2 weeks yet they will be running round like blue arse flies and we will look shot
Everton's double swoop for Walcott and Tosun has to be up there
£50m in transfer fees and another £50m in wages
We ended up having to pay other clubs to take them on loan before their contracts expired
6 years later we are still counting the cost
@OliverKay
@Riceyyy
Kenwright and his ego were the biggest issues
He appointed yes men/women.
The only qualified CEO he ever appointed only lasted 6 weeks
Everything Kenwright did was in order to benefit him, keep him at the helm and much of it was to the detriment of EFC
An absolute collectors item with neither me or
@MattyJJackson
wearing a tracksuit
It had to take a special occasion
Congratulations to Matty on his lovely wedding yesterday
@charles_stevo
I dont think we've played badly at Goodison although admittedly results have been poor
On another day we comfortably beat Fulham, Wolves, Luton and even Man Utd last week
All sides scored with virtually their only chances whilst we missed countless opportunities
@knowlesm
@BumbleCricket
Getting the 6-9 yr olds playing isn't the issue. It's getting the 13+ to carry on playing. Unfortunately it's a team game played by individuals so a lot of boys only going to make up the numbers
@Tony_Scott11
no difference between us and Leicester - other than them having no injuries and being able to name their 6th consecutive unchanged side. A lack of fit centre midfielders is killing us. A different side if Gomes is controlling things in the middle
@ALANMYERSMEDIA
12 months ago Newcastle had 1 win from 19 matches
A new manager, a couple of relatively cheap signings and they finished mid table comfortably
6 of their outfield 10 yesterday and 8 out of 9 subs were part of that 1 win in 19
The hysteria from the Everton fans this weekend has been embarrassing
The goodwill for the manager who had us comfortably in midtable last season has already gone.
Brighton have just taken their spending to £150m we haven't even spent the Onana proceeds
Well done to those who realise my issue was with the commentators and nothing to do with the way Liverpool have spent their money
I only wish my club had shown the same acumen not to overpay for overaged players
Of course I'm bitter the way my club has been run, who wouldn't
@markpougatch
@johnmerro1
I'm a ref and if that's a goal then I also don't understand it
The ball was 1 inch away from him after he chased it for 20 yards
@jpends_
You've changed your tune
You intimated that people who don't have the same inflated opinion on Pickford as you know nothing about football
For me, he's too small, so he can't even command his 6 yard box, and he therefore can make a straightforward save look spectacular
We draw lines to measure if a player is 1mm offside.
We have technology to tell us if the ball has gone 1mm over the line
But a ref can literally decide whether to play 3 mins or 13 mins of injury time without any comeback
Then he can extend that time for as long as he wants
NEW: Premier League matches were Europe’s longest last season - but have dropped in length by average 1min 35sec this season after new stoppage time directive to referees.

@FA_PGMOL
Havertz is nowhere near Pickford's eye line
Pickford has a 100% clear view of it
Havertz being there has not impeded Pickford's view of it
@philmcnulty
Looked very good in the Belgian team but he was only up against Rice and Bellingham so I suppose you'd have expected him to dominate !
I was there last night
It's difficult to look to pass to an Everton player when no one moves and no one wants it
He'll be a monster for someone
11 league wins this season - same amount as Brighton
De Zerbi being talked about as Barcelona's next manager
Yet most Everton fans want Dyche replaced despite gaining more points than last 2 seasons with still 4 games to go
@jablett1
correct
one challenge was an intent to hurt an opponent
Allan's challenge was to stop a promising attack
Anyone who has played the game knows this - unfortunately these refs haven't and it shows
Aside from the red his game management was dreadful all night
@izzywestbury
disappointing, thats it ?
All of a sudden, racism is now just disappointing because its only against Jewish people
What the hell has this got to do with someone being jailed for rape ?
Talk about changing the subject
@alex_crook
it should be managers who are overachieving with the players they have
Pep, Klopp and Arteta are not overachieving
O'Neil, Emery, Dyche, Iraola are
@henrymoeranBBC
That's actually quite poor considering the amount the
@ECB_cricket
have spent on marketing and the fact that a lot of the host clubs are including it in their county memberships
How do gate receipts stack up against marketing spend say compared to The Blast ?
@LiamThorpECHO
Whether we have a Tory or Labour govt Liverpool is always underfunded
The Tories know they have no chance in Liverpool so don't even try
Labour know they are guaranteed to elect MPs in Liverpool so they dont have to try
@henrywinter
Nonsense Henry
Leicester arent in Europe
Vardy has retired from internationals
He had xmas off on paternity leave
Hes probably undercooked if anything
Liverpool's players have had the biggest workload and they seem fresh as daisies 👀
@spuddy1878
Undoubtedly our most influential player since Dyche came in up to the point he got injured in December
Not been half the player since he's come back
I like my cricket but everything about The Hundred is absolute garbage
The graphics don't help
Took me an age to work out who the teams were, what the score was and that the other batsman was in fact the bowler
Then I realised I actually didn't care and switched it off
@Tony_Scott11
Absolute nonsense
Hardly a queue of clubs wanting to sign him.
Have a look at the last 14 goals we've conceded - a "top class" keeper saves 8 or 9 of them
He's average at best but makes a simple save look spectacular
Tarkowski is our player of the season
Just on my way back from Chelsea
I've had better nights
However, if you think Sean Dyche is the problem, then you must have been in a coma for the last 10 years
Fantastic experience today for
@Jared_Clein
in being asked to net bowl for the
@windiescricket
Here he is pictured with the West Indies skipper Jason Holder
@ECB_cricket
Please tell me why I can't have a net with my son ?
I can play tennis with him
You are following govt advice and govt advice is that I can but are you saying I can't
@OllieHolt22
I hope not
Do you believe it right to promote an anti Semitic organisation or have you been completely brainwashed by all of this ?
I'm very surprised both Spurs and Chelsea carry this logo considering the Jewish presence in their boardrooms
@deneils
@Barry1878
The irony being that the proposed stadium at Kirkby was going to be a much poorer financial deal for Everton quite apart from swapping an iconic waterfront in the city for a Tesco's site in a town in Knowsley
But the Kirkby deal would have been better for Kenwright !
