I wasn’t sure I’d see this day, but it’s here. I am sincerely and deeply grateful. Also tired, but mostly grateful. Thank you to everyone for all the love and support. Shout out to
@BCCancer
for making me well and
@VCDSociety
to help drive me.

I was about to go for swimming in the Ocean at Pokeshaw Beach in the Acadian Peninsula of NB. Parents of 4 yr old Teddy, who were relaxing at the beach, asked me if their little one could swim with me. So, Teddy and I swam together in the waves 🌊
CAT 1, COYOTE 0: A coyote got the surprise of its life in a parking lot in Port Moody, British Columbia. Footage captured by a Port Moody police officer shows the wild canine being chased out of the lot by a black cat.
1) In March, 2013, my husband/love of my life didn’t wake up one morning while he was away working in another city and country. Along with
@Carolneedlz
and my brother in law, we spent a week in that city bringing him home. When I got home, I had almost constant company for weeks
Happy Canadian Thanksgiving weekend to all who celebrate. Every year I retweet this because it’s really perfect. And no, we don’t have pilgrims. And yes, as a duo citizen, I celebrate both Thanksgivings.
Here is the story of how my little girl found my cancer before anybody else did and then took good care of me this past year. Huge gratitude to
@VinGuptaMD
and my twitter family for the love 🙏 Thank you to

Russian opposition politician Alexei Navalny, who was jailed in 2021, died at age 47 after reportedly feeling unwell and losing consciousness during morning walk, according to Federal Prison Service
With the growth of technology & advancements, it is easy to lose sight of how important it is to be happy. People are pushing themselves to work hard. This effort can be meaningless if we aren't happy at the end of the day. From the winter nature in the Yukon, sending joy & hope!
It’s been a year since I lost my boy Gonzo suddenly. Yesterday, I finally opened his paw print. He didn’t rescue me from a burning building or an angry bear, but he saved my life just the same. He deserved more than 7 years, but he knew every day that he was my entire world.
This is not funny and it’s not cool. As much as I’d love to say it doesn’t bother me, it does. It makes me feel like sh*t. Especially as VJ who is always alone. This still happens to female reporters everywhere and it needs to stop.
Putting the band back together for 2024. Between the two of us, what we did in 2023: 3 surgeries, 30 rounds of chemo, and 35 radiation treatments. 5 chemo sessions to go for Noel, but we’re going to knock this year’s growing season out of the park. 🪴🌱🪻
Ella will be taking on new responsibilities around the house soon, including light tweeting. I have breast cancer, so I’ll be busy doing battle for awhile. Most people beat this one, my drs are great, and I have the best support system.
DeSantis: As president, I recognize that the woke mind virus represents a war on the truth so we will wage a war on the woke. We will fight the woke in education, we will fight the woke in corporations, we will fight the woke in the halls of congress.
Dear old dude defiantly and proudly maskless in the only waiting room in the cancer clinic where everyone here is waiting for chemo. The rest of us don’t have a choice to be here. Some of us are already fighting infections and most of us have a shitty immune system.

On yesterday’s morning wellness check, Ella’s lip was swollen. Long story short, she’s home from the vet. She’s tired but good. We’ll try to figure out what’s causing it all and in the meantime, she’s happy. (The vet staff say she is ‘spicy’ and ‘opinionated’)
Ella grooming update: SHOCKINGLY, although she yelled at me the entire car ride to and from, she was a GOOD GIRL for the vet groomer. In fact, the groomer offered to come to my house during my treatments, so I don’t have to stress Ella out with driving. So grateful. Wow 🙏❤️😻
One down, one to go. Covid today, flu shot in 10 days. A very wise epidemiologist told me it was best to space them out, especially for someone with no immune system left. Staff was wonderful and made me feel safe (had the line up move away from me and no waiting.
On the 2nd day after receiving my Covid-19 vaccine, I danced Punjabi Bhangra outside of my cabin in wilderness for joy, hope & positivity. Nearly 2 million people my yesterday's video on Twitter. I'm happy I was able to raise awareness about vaccine for wellness of all people.
Ella is a VERY GOOD GIRL. She just eats her pill from my hand then gets her treat. Every 12 hours. I’ve never shared my life with an animal that would do this.
Does my first gym selfie count if it’s in my home gym? It’s been a frustrating 20 months. I just start feeling better and I then it’s time for another surgery, cancer treatment, or injury. Baby steps and going easier on myself about ‘progress’ is the goal 🏃♀️🥾💪
Ella did an amazing job finding my cancer and taking care of me during treatment. I gave her the rest of the year off, but she still insists on monitoring my fatigue and pain. She insists I rest immediately after work. There’s no arguing. 😻
Wake up mom it’s chemo time😻Ella is ready for the day even if I’m not. Quick update. I start my second half of treatment with a new chemo protocol that’s ‘slightly less intolerable for some people’. Here’s hoping. Also fighting a new (autoimmune) infection but we got this.
