Went into my local B&N with the nephew, masks on obvi, first time in a store in a long time, for all the book lovelies. He says “didn’t you used to be a writer?” Oof. Then, I say: “I’m still a writer, my books just aren’t on the shelf—Yet.” That’s the energy I’m bringing now.

My little nephew has been talking about Black Panther forever. So we went (amazing!) and his commentary-also amazing. First fight "Nooo! Black Panther please be okay." Later: "is Wakanda a real place?" Him cheering on Okoye, the best. He used to just be about the boy superheroes.

You've made this one chapter tighter. Then add back in that part because you like it! Maybe it serves a purpose. Oh, so you might as well add back in this huge dialogue scene too. Sure. Yes. Why did I edit this? #amwriting #ontheporch I have issues.

On the way into the Black Panther movie my niece sees a @lovesimonmovie display "Jenny look! It says the line forms here--and it doesn't have to be straight." She loved it. I do too. She's 11. We're going to see it together. @beckyalbertalli

I finished writing my manuscript! It only took years and $%^& versions. I'm done. ish. Till edits come back on a critique. (I just need to cut 2k words first, which is like, really low for me, I overwrite! I do.) I Finished! And I don't hate it.

My aunt was diagnosed this June with #ALS she may not make it through tonight. She’s in the hospital, unable to breathe on her own. She is scared & in agony. Hospice tomorrow. There is no reason not to approve new drugs like NurOwn—people are dying & need new treatments. @US_FDA

My aunt was diagnosed with #ALS in June & it has progressed fast, she cannot walk or move her limbs, talk or eat. This disease is horrific. Please go to & contact your local representatives & tell them you support FDA approval for NurOwn, a new medication
