Reminds me of that time stan lee said that because of the mask, anyone could be Spider-Man. He was referring to race in that interview, but I think it still stands here. He has the mask and the powers, but he is still his own spider man
Why are people shitting their pants over this. This is literally a team known for doing localization right and properly. And they literally list the points on what makes a good localization good. If you think this is bad, then you clearly just don’t understand shit about-
What is localization?

@TheFirstOkiro
Once Harrison ford got drunk and tried to destroy the milenium falchion apparently and was only stopped by mark hamil calming him down. Bro hated it
People always complain about Strega being easy but I think narratively it works well, these are basically just cancer patients who seek death, why wouldn’t they be pushovers? That and like not every boss needs to be a ball buster
@Exellocks
Personally I’m kinda happy that there is no femc or fes content just because it means they focused on one thing instead of a bunch of other things. I get why people are upset but I think focusing on just p3 was the best option
@esotericfate1
ONG. SPEAK! Especially when you learn about how he dies. Like bro did not have a single good thing happen to him through the entire game. He lost everything like 3 times, then died on his own in a cave due to being murdered

Localization and translation are different. Translation is taking it and directly translating it to another language, localization is taking that translation and altering it to make it more understandable/palatable to the new audience. There’s a reason bad localizations get
-how language works and how cultural differences necessitate the need for changes leading to localization. If it wasn’t for localization so many games would be actually really bad because they wouldn’t be understandable to an English speaking audience-

@FE1_BEST_FE
Literally not a direct translation, things are still altered to have it make sense in English. Most localizations are better than a direct translation due to making it make more sense because Japanese is wildly different from Latin based languages
Due to how mannerisms, culture, politics, and just the basics of language work. Changes HAVE to be made sometimes and if you don’t think that, you clearly are just an eliteist asshole
@UmbraMae
Sexualizing Heather is also literally proving the point of the game that people like to objectify and sexualize women. People are so creepy man
@JammerJammy
Silent hill 4 doesn’t get credit for being the scariest silent hill game as well as finding a way to make the gameplay tense without tank controls
If you dislike localization or think it’s inherently bad you should shut up cuz you clearly don’t understand anything about language, culture, or even copyright
@J0ezah
SMT 1 I think has decent combat because outside of boss fights you kinda just auto battle with no consequences so the dungeon crawling is the focus
