Yu is a funny character because I think the quality of his design rides almost solely on if the artist wants him to seem attractive, and Soejima clearly did not give a shit in that regard most of the time Saito on the other hand almost always drew him like a teen model

Nah that review still sucks regardless of V’s flaws I’m aware they weren’t aware of the stigma around the comparison to Persona, but that doesn’t make it any less stupid. V’s problems don’t come from trying to emulate Persona and failing, they’re just writing issues on their own

I don’t even really like The Answer that much outside of its explanation for why Makoto died, but I think excluding it is just plain lazy, at least FEMC is available on modern platforms due to the recent ports, but The Answer is now and for the foreseeable future locked to PS2/3
