If you ask a Dundee fan for a player who epitomised the Bonetti era, there are 4-5 choices you will hear. Juan Sara, Georgi Nemsadze, Claudio Caniggia and Fabian Caballero are the main picks.
Fabian had such a flair and direct attacking style which endeared him to Dees. He
Delighted to be given the opportunity to carry on the great work founded by my predecessors. Excited to bring my experiences and education around similar roles to aid in the phenomenal growth of the football department.
We are delighted to announce Jamie Keith as our Head of Community Football.
Jamie, who is currently studying for his master’s in Sporting Director and his UEFA B licence, will support the Trust in its growth alongside our strategic aims and objectives.
Just the casual £150K gift from a football club who is facing an incoming government regulator to the Prime Minister of the country who already makes £200K p/a.
Don’t all raise your eyebrows at once.
EXCLUSIVE: ITV News Political Editor
@Peston
reveals the prime minister has been given use of a corporate box by Arsenal as a gift.
Starmer will have to declare it in Parliament's register, with boxes advertised as costing at least £8,750 a game.

Not the W for the argument you are hoping for here, Douglas. They were loaded with more debt than they could afford to run with, even if in Ligue Un. 89% of revenue spent on debt servicing and maintenance killed them, not relegation.
Am I nervous that we have taken over Junior Dees? Very. Am I excited at everything we have planned to make it what could potentially be the biggest child-integration programme to a Scottish club? Even more so.
It was an honour to have graduated from Abertay University with a BSc (Hons) in Sport and Psychology. The end of a 5 year journey at Abertay. And as it’s been made public on forums - I’ll confirm I’m currently working as a Recruitment Analyst in the Football Dept at Dundee FC.
@LMairzo
Ukrainian govt requested it be pronounced that way as it is the traditional Ukrainian pronunciation, not Key-ev which is more Russian, I believe. Similar to Türkiye not Turkey now.
Those three managers don’t remotely play similar styles (or in one case display a clear style of play).
When you are selecting a manager (please read this as head coach) you are attempting to find a manager to coach a specific style. This style should logically be aligned.
🗣️'Why did Aberdeen not consider Malky Mackay, Stephen Robinson or Neil Lennon?'

Love the appointment. Tony was a fantastic tutor on my UEFA B Licence and a great person. Excited for him to get a number one job and show what he can do in the role.
We would like to thank newly appointed
@DundeeFC
manager Tony Docherty for taking the time to talk to to our players today. We can’t wait to see how the team do in the Premiership with him as manager this year.
@frankieboyle
I'd tend to agree with the first point, but the second one is one which WC also get, but with added natural impostor syndrome of actually being qualified.
Welcome to the family. Got a few strips I'm now looking to get signed by players before framing, but this one is special. The shirt worn when I was born. Love it.
My people. My club. So many hard working members of staff, and young men in this picture. I’m very excited to watch lots of these lads as they continue developing through.
Nephew has taken an interest in baseball the last 6 months - today is his 10th birthday so I bought him his first real glove.
He thinks the other part of his gift is a cap that’s gonna arrive. He doesn’t know that there is also a Cubs jersey in there too. We are a Chicago Cubs
Love Stuart Taylor - another good person in the door. A welcome trend at Dundee FC. Have gotten to know him well as a colleague for the last 9 months on our Masters course - and his reputation is stellar. Excited to get to work around the staff the club are building.
The Dundee Derby is a fierce but friendly derby. The new suggestions of approach for fans of both sides works against our community and will infact make tensions worse through an attempt to segregate which will infact create tribalism.
I hope both sets of fans can approach
@jingsy
As others have replied mate, all junctions on Tannadice St will be closed, United fans to arrive from the north and east, Dundee fans from the south and west... It's crazy!
Do you want to know one of the best things about Dundee (the city and the club)? Going to games and seeing no less than 10 kids I’ve coached in the academy at the game. All ages, Dundee daft, banging the drum, waving flags, singing songs. Hope they enjoy this week. Christmas # 1
Wow! Unbelievable. To say I had 90+ players and 125 unique players down as a realistic target for camps this summer in a single week would be a lie. We’ve smashed it. The coaches delivered a great experience for the kids and I can’t be more appreciative than I am right now.
LARGEST EVER WORLD CUP FRIDAY IN THE BOOKS!
There were almost 100 kids competing in this weeks World Cup Fridays across three different groups. This week in the children’s group, the eventual winners were the Netherlands, with the girls championship being lifted by Italy!

Let’s get a BN Cubs podcast! Your input from a fan media perspective was always the most relatable part while the other two provided depth of insight and newsbits. Gotta be a market for that.

It’s visible just on the eye-test, so great to see the data looking much more positive than the early period this year. Here’s hoping he can start to see the outcomes soon and progress his BA up to Mendoza and beyond.
Surgery was scheduled to last between 2-3 hours, ended up at 6 hours due to the bone graft being more complicated than expected and having to wait for specialist equipment being transferred from Stracathro.
Other than this, I’m comfortable and would like to thank everyone from

"To the magnificent supporters, wow, wow, wow. The celebrations on Friday night, the civic reception at the weekend and the reception you gave me on the awards evening will live with me forever."
If you don’t know how to interpret this, it’s simple. It’s another attack on the working class and their ability to study what they enjoy at a level they want and in any way close to an affordable manner. Fuck the Tories, and fuck you if you vote for them.
EVERYBODY said back when DCC went through its public consultation that building there was a terrible idea and that using the Craigie site, while smaller would’ve been a better choice due to the flooding history.

Very proud of this big guy! An absolutely wonderful lad, great head on his shoulders, and is from a proper Dundee family. Well done Ally! It’s a pleasure being on of your coaches.
Was back at Abertay again this morning talking to students for work placements. 3 different lecturers I studied under all bumped in to in the cafe…all saying how it looks like I’m doing very well. One of those times where you walk out thinking “Maybe I am doing well?”
Was delighted to see Ben make it back this week. You’d be hard pushed to find a young man who shows the discipline, hard-work and dedication to the team of him. Every week, rain or shine at games, supporting his teammates. Eventually becoming the team stat-man. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
A very short but special video for u16 Ben Frattaroli, after nearly 15 months out with a serious knee injury, makes his long awaited appearance return 💪 His patience, hard work, determination and support of team mates has been absolutely first class. Well done young Ben 🙌🏻 🙌🏻 ⚽️
I'd like to say a big well done to Gemma who organised everything from idea to delivery. She's so passionate about helping people in the community and will be a massive loss when she returns to teaching. The community gains another great asset in our schools however.
A big thank you to everyone who donated to the Toy Appeal organised by
@DundeeFCCT
Today our players visited the Tayside children’s hospital to deliver the toy donations and to spend time with the children and their families.
Thank you again for all the toys!

A great day yesterday with some fantastic performances across all ages. Kids in awe as Phil Foden walks in and watches a game. Thanks to
@ManCityAcademy
for providing these kids with this experience.
We are delighted to announce plans are well underway to hold a series of events celebrating one of our owns 10th year as a professional at Dundee Football Club. The first event will be announced this afternoon at 4pm. Stay tuned.

Here’s the state of play at Dalmuir Twin Tunnels. As you can see, the water level is massive – it’s up to around the window level on a train. The fixed pumps here have been completely overwhelmed by the extreme rainfall. It'll take time for this to clear once the rain stops.
Seb is a very nice young man, always asking questions and has a great character too. Delighted he got this opportunity and excited to see his continued growth.
Congratulations to 15 year old Sebastian Lochhead who made his first appearance for the senior squad last night in the testimonial game at

An update in the Jamie misery scale as a Dundee supporter:
Dundee wins: 16 (24%). 77 goals scored.
Draws: 18 (27%)
United wins: 32 (48%). 111 goals scored.
No major honours, and finished below them 23 of the 31 seasons. But it's in the blood, what else would I be?
Lochhead moves to Wolves 🐺
Dundee Football Club can confirm that young defender Sebastian Lochhead has moved to English Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers for an undisclosed fee.

You know what, take an absolute flying fuck to yourself! This is shameless to go after a man who admitted to his problems like this. And I say this as someone with the same disease, that at his worst done the exact same thing!
You should be ashamed.
Good morning. In today's Sunday Mail we reveal football manager Brian Rice staked money on a women’s under-19 match between Iran and Slovenia as his gambling spiralled out of control

Boys signed off for the summer with another win against an "Elite" tier academy team. Delighted and proud of the progress from them since the change in coaches last year. 16 W, 1D, 1L this calendar year, but more importantly the growth in these young men is phenomenal.
The kids thought they were the winners getting to soak me today at the end of the summer camps. I was the winner really.☀️
We appreciate everyone supporting us once again this summer making us the largest football camp in the city. We wouldn’t be anywhere without our community!
We would lastly like to thank all 500+ children from across Tayside who came to our camps and made them the biggest yet.
We hope all those at Gardyne enjoyed soaking coach Jamie if you scored your penalty at the end of the day.

6 months in to having a full-time job, a part-time job and completing a Masters Degree, and I think I’m finally hitting the proper burnout stage where I need a break to focus on re-charging and simply just doing the things I’ve let slide.
Then I received this email. Turns out

With all due respect Julie, she’s going through cancer and made it known she wanted privacy during her battle. And with the laws we have when it comes to the royals and their privacy it’s very easily done to keep her out the eye of the public. It all feels very manufactured.
More than deserved for Dundee today. Very much a team which appears well coached, and was capable of matching a team favoured like Hibs. Always looked like we could score as much as Hibs.

More than deserved for Dundee today. Very much a team which appears well coached, and despite a deficit in men was capable of matching a team favoured like Killie. Always looked like we could score despite 10 men.

It’s hard to understate the improvement in the Academy over the last 4 years and we are definitely getting closer to creating more rounded players with the structure we have.
It’s also great to help out coaching in the CT due to their growth. 👏🏻
Eilish McColgan and Laura Muir. Two of Scotlands elite athletes. Both trained in this sma' city. Both deserving of all the plaudits they receive for their performances in these games. Fantastic.
Hope everyone enjoys the City Sq then POTY tonight. A great bank holiday for fans. U16s for me today, then Coronation Camp tomorrow means a weekend of 0 celebrations for me. 💙⚽️
Feel for fans of Raith Rovers tonight. A football club should represent its community, and the signing of David Goodwillie is not representative of the people of Kirkcaldy, or fans of the club. There should be some big questions asked of those who green-lit this signing.
I'll donate £5 to my local foodbank for each of Gove, Johnson, Raab, Patel or IDS that lose their seat. £10 if Swinson gets dumped. £50 if they all get it. Who else is in?
@davemeltzerWON
Even more impressive with 29M watching the Biden address, right? 1/4 hours will be interesting. An increase after Q1 would indicate it would’ve been 800k possibly without it?

says jed doesnt want to spend bc he doesnt know if he will have $ down the line like what happened in 2018. so jed is nervous to spend, crane is saying we will be in the playoffs in ‘23 & tom says $ is there for jed to spend but cant be trusted. what a mess
If I were still a sports bettor I don’t think I’d ever back an 11th place SPFL Prem finisher ever again. Teams just too fragile to bounce back from a season of being on the back foot and defeated that they’re soft.

They don't want it to be seen that senior Royals can infact do their duties for free. Once that precedent is set, people would want it up and down the £65B family.
Posting this at 2 in the morning, so it’ll hopefully go under the radar.
Very disappointed in Steve Clarke’s comment about the Argentinian official. The type of rhetoric which is very dangerous, and symptomatic of Scottish conspiracy seeking, when you’re trying to deflect.
“The guy from St Mirren”.
David, you used to make a living from our game in Scotland. Your contempt for the Vice Chairman of a domestic club through this phrasing is astounding.
Please show St Mirren, David Gillespie and Scottish football outside the Old Firm the respect it
Interesting. He is highly regarded down south.
He’d be a good leader and figurehead for Rangers, if they can land him.
No offence to the guy from St Mirren (a terrific club), but Adrian Bevington is a completely different level.
An upgrade on what Rangers have had recently, too.

If my work arrange for me to get picked up at the airport when working internationally and they fuck it up, fuck yeah I’m letting my boss know it that somebody has fucked up. That’s a serious error from a professional organisation.
I hate to cancel camps and feel like we are leaving parents in a bind, but with the red weather warning across areas we serve this is the right thing to do in terms of safety of kids.
We will definitely provide a discount code in the future for those booked for a camp to make
⚠️⚠️ With the updated Red Weather Warning across parts of Dundee and Angus, we have taken the cautious decision to cancel the camps scheduled for Thursday and Friday at Gardyne Campus. ⚠️⚠️
And so the trip to London begins for a baseball weekend. Let’s sweep the Redbirds and get to .500! Going with a cult classic that’ll raise some laughs and hopefully a tweet from Cubs Press Box.
Would love to get more people involved in our core programs that’s we have running at the moment ahead of the summer.
Men’s Walking Football is a great opportunity for O50s to keep playing in both recreational and competitive environments. It runs Tuesdays 5-6 at Gardyne.
Another great weekend of festivals featuring our Girls and Men’s Walking Football teams. Lots of positive results and performances. Great to see so many happy faces of people playing football.
We've all sent tweets which have been taken out of context. Whatevs. 50 year old men chucking about screenshots that are about 7 years old is certainly the epitome of 2019 though.
