David Braun is the 2023 Big Ten Coach of the Year. Facing one of the toughest tests in the collegiate landscape, Braun led a 1-11 team to a 7-5 record and secured the permanent head coaching job in the process. One of the greatest stories in college football this season.

With all this talk of growing the game, it seems like quite the missed opportunity to have no broadcast of last night's Tewaaraton Ceremony. Plenty of young athletes could've tuned in and learned a thing or two from Izzy Scane and Pat Kavanagh. But that's just my two cents.

When you think of the most expansive and impressive coaching trees in any sport, Kelly Amonte Hiller's at Northwestern has to be up there -- with both former assistants and players. Plenty of terrific coaches, but Hannah Nielsen's work at Michigan is nothing short of incredible.
