The record of annually formed tree rings, sedimentary layers, and ice layers goes back tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of years in some cases. These can be checked independently with C-14 dating. It simply isn’t possible for the Earth to be less than 10k years old.

The largest bivalve today is the heterodont Tridacna gigas. In the Mesozoic, there was a family of bivalves called Inoceramidae, some of whom got large too.
