Well done to those men that intervened. I know some say that someone should have intervened sooner, but it’s not that easy in the moment to know what to do for the best. Plus one sometimes fears that a situation like this will escalate. Well done anyway 👏

He and his wife collectively take home much more than that. This is why I trust the word of Mike Graham more than I do doctors or teachers.

Well done! You both look terrible in the first picture. Like a typical working class family you’d see around the pool abroad in Tenerife. Well done for improving yourselves 👏

@JulianClary
Great to see Julian Clary back on TV. My mother always loved him. He was essentially banned from Television in the 90s for being a gay homosexual.

Sadly, an intolerant and non-inclusive society back then. No representation here of minorities or marginalised communities. Society is far from perfect now, but it’s better.
@Bobstroudsnr
Maybe Britain should abandon its “traditions” in order to include people from minorities. For a start, drop right wing terms like ‘Chr***mas’ and replace with ‘Winterval’.
@Talldarkfriend
Change is indeed scary. However, change is necessary and the only way to achieve it is to expose your genitals to an unexpecting audience.
My mother, unhappy with the choice of candidates to vote for, caused a commotion at polling station 🤣👏 They had to close for an hour resulting in many local residents not voting. Shame that it takes an elderly woman to make a stand

Matt Hancock’s family nearly lost everything in the early 1990s when the family business nearly went bust. He apparently knows what it’s like to have the wolf near the door.
My mother is elderly and nearly lost one of her homes due to the

Watching the game, I don’t think Newcastle Magpies were robbed. They made a very basic error of allowing Liverpool score more goals than they did. Ultimately, that cost them.

I’m enjoying having the black United Kingdom passport again. I won’t be using it due to additional visa fees and Covid restrictions, but it’s nice having it to look at.
@OwenJones84
When I was a child, my mother warned me that other children would not want to play with me if I did or said horrible things to them. I thought this was an awful infringement on my free speech and cancel culture was clearly endemic in our society even then.
@TheEyes2022
At least the Covid deniers and anti-vaxxers are consistent. They choose not to work and pay their taxes. It doesn’t matter if they hate the NHS as they make no contribution to it anyway

I took my girlfriend, Carol Hull, to Oxford v Chelsea in the mid 1980s. At Half Time, she was caught giving oral sex to another fan. I was humiliated.
The lads taunted me by saying it’s the first time Hull went down following a first half goal from Ray Houghton.

Some of the working class white gammon in the comments 🤦♂️ Ask most people and they’d agree that they felt far safer amongst middle class white people. I’m with Eddie Redmayne on this one.

Mother has always been a socialist, but in her life as a charity worker and property developer, she’s come in to contact with many caring, generous Conservative MPs, party members and voters.

The only time the man does the decent thing and avoids a football match for the sake of climate change, and everyone is castigating him. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.
@Mofoman360
Extremely worrying the racists on here that want to vote Nella out but happy to allow fascist Nigel Farage and insensitive Fred to stay. Is this the kind of country we’ve become? 🤦♂️

Elderly people (my mother) nearly having to sell one of their homes due to the cost of living crisis as tenants not able to afford the rent.
@billybragg
Thank you for your resilience, Billy. I fear that the X (formerly Twitter) mob will come after you on this one. Mostly from a certain socioeconomic background 🤦♂️
@BCAFCBH
Oh dear! 🤦♂️ All the gammon are out in force, believing that the relegation of Forest Green Soccer Club is one in the eye for the “woke mob”.
@BBCSport
Disappointed that no presenter, pundit or anyone in football had the bottle to cross the picket line and present Match of the Day. If we don’t stand up to the mob, they’ll win.

It looks as though Jeffrey Corbyn has won his Islington North seat.
In 2019, he won 202 seats as Labour Party leader. In 2024, he has won only 1 seat. The media do not seem interest in this catastrophic loss. It’s time he resigned.

Just watching ‘Katie Price: Harvey and Me’. Harvey is an inoffensive young man with severe learning difficulties. Are you still doing the ‘Harvey’ jokes,

In 1968, we stopped off at

services in Harold Sold’s Morris Minor on the way back from Stranraer. I said as a joke that ‘Watford Gap’ sounds like a Hertfordshire Prostitute. My mother hit me so hard I temporarily lost the hearing on one side.

Delighted that none of mother’s properly will now be “seized” following malicious rumours (started by a former staff member) that mother had associated with Roman Abramovich’s people when procuring property in London. Former staff member will be taken to court 🙂
