@drphilhammond Has anyone tried to count the number of highly political tweets Andrew Neil merrily posted while he was presenting news/current affairs and doing political interviews on the BBC? Or is it only a problem if it doesn’t fit with a certain viewpoint?

Am I missing something..? Commentators saying that monarchy is now openly against indy, & that Charles will prioritise the union in his ‘reign’. If they’re openly campaigning against our self-determination, shouldn’t we just challenge them openly & publicly at every opportunity?

@BootstrapCook This reminded me of something in Zambia called the ‘Basic Needs Basket’. It’s used to track the actual cost of actual basic stuff that people need. Has become a really influential tool in campaigning/decisions re less well-off people’s interests Could UK use something similar..?

@OwenJones84 Boris won 56% of the constituency seats via FPTP in 2019 and called it a ‘stonking mandate for Brexit’. SNP will get c.83% of the FPTP constituency seats this weekend, with a clear pro-Indy majority in a PR Parliament. Boris says, um, not a mandate. 🤔 🤷‍♀️ 🤦‍♂️ Are we a democracy?

@AlynSmith I saw a camper van roll into rural Scotland today, towing a car, here for the long haul. Shaved headed driver, front seat covers were 🇬🇧 and 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿. Danger of stereotyping, but I did wonder if these were also the kind of guys who want to turn those fleeing war in Syria back at Dover?

@DannyFiler You do realise that the vast majority of people who now vote SNP used to vote Labour, many until quite recently? And that we saw a better option and moved on? I guess that’s why you lap up the SNP-bashing. But it does sum up - brilliantly - why Labour is finished in scotland.

@RaithRovers I’ve enjoyed Raith’s social media content recently but the official club account celebrating a violent foul that endangered a fellow player? That’s embarrassing.

@Daily_Record @AllieHBNews Fully in favour of this more direct approach. It seems to be the right thing to try. If the Tories want to stop it, they can go to the courts and take full responsibility.

@DepotTint @AOC @NicolaSturgeon To be accurate it’s about 97.5% of electricity demand now coming from renewables. Up from about 20% ten years ago… shows that vast change is possible in quite a short time span.

@SusanTo16858068 @JaneyGodley ‘Just accept it’..? No. It’s weird. Inexplicable, in any rational sense. And, for now at least, and for no obvious reason, that family provides our ‘head of state’. Arguably it would much more odd *not* to comment on it, or to see it as ‘not someone’s business to understand’. 🤷‍♀️

@paulhutcheon About time. Completely baffling to give tax breaks to something that perpetuates inequality.
