Tens of thousands of people are not turning up for booster vaccine appointments, the Taoiseach has told the Dáil. In the week beginning November 22, 208,000 appointments were offered but just 80,000 people turned up. Last week 180,000 slots available but only 93,000 attended

Spot checks at Dublin Airport since Sunday found 100 arriving passengers who did not have a completed Covid test. 95 did not have any documentation while five had papers that were not valid. The Transport Committee heard that around 10% of arrivals in the airport are checked.
