I'd be inclined to write back stating that you found the contents of the letter you received grossly offensive. Would seem to trip over the same law.
One of the things about being a freelancer for close on 30 years, is you get to see far more managers / CEOs than most people do in their lifetimes. You build up a pretty solid picture of management styles, personality types, what works etc.

I live on a boat. To get on to dry land, I have to walk up a gangway, the height of which changes with the tides. I've been around this marina for over 30 years. Not only is the sea level not rising, the highest I've seen it was on January 6th 1991. Nothing like that since.

Being of the opinion that there are only two sexes doesn't equate to a phobia about trans people. The only phobia here is the one you have with truth.

Britain paid 40% of its GDP stopping the slave trade, using its navy to enforce that globally, lost thousands of sailors in the process, and were still paying for it in income taxes until 2015. That means I was paying for the costs for 27 years, as have generations before me.

@exposurelights
You are wearing all black clothing. Your head is much higher than most car roofs and the light may not be visible in mirrors. But yes, I get that your lack of visibility is everyone else's fault.
@Boenau
By your logic, if I'm driving towards a set of lights at a junction, and can clearly see that there are no vehicles, cyclists or pedestrians coming, I should be able to drive through the red.

Agreed. One thing that really pisses off my Indian mates is the phrase "Asian grooming gangs". They'd rather reporting was more specific.
Another video of the staged Greta Thunberg arrest has emerged.
It's all a show, and they think everyone can be suckered by their fake news coverage.

Were you a 72 year old women driving badly, and didn't see the scooters until they came after you and gave you the finger?
Because I ride motorbikes, and can confirm that bikers seem to don a magical cloak of invisibility for many drivers, particularly the elderly.

When a country never says no to children, or teaches them about personal responsibility, this what you get.
Youth centres my arse.
You can become a British citizen and opt out of shaking hands with a woman. Should we really be inviting those opposed to female dignitaries to our shores?

Scrap NetZero. Cut fuel taxes and vat to get us back to a reasonable level. Tell the greens to go back to knitting yurts from organic yogurt, and put actual adults in charge of energy policy.
We are done with paying for this shit.

Hi Ben, if you know of any Russian yachts in the UK, please report them to the relevant authorities. Otherwise we could be mistaken for thinking you were simply trying to make a false point.

I've seen it so many times, that if I start a new gig and spot one of these tools, I immediately know the place will be a shitshow. They usually do about 3 years, then head off leaving a bin fire behind them, ready to inflict more of the same in their next company.

If you genuinely imagine I’d delete posts calling a man a man, so as not to be prosecuted under this ludicrous law, stand by for the mother of all April Fools’ jokes.

It is a coincidence that so many self-important blue ticks are concerned at the prospect of a level playing field.
Oh, and not everybody that disagrees with you are far right. They are just right, as in correct.
We appear to have moved on from "1984 was not supposed to be an instruction manual" and are moving swiftly towards "Logan's Run was not supposed to be an instruction manual".
I wonder what exciting dystopian nightmare sci-fi classic is next in line?
@PaulEmbery
How much money are you willing to spend helping extremely old and infirm people cling to life? Why is that a better use of money than child benefit, or schools, or adult social care for those not on the cusp of death?
@spatialanalysis
While we are on the subject, a comparison with 2020 is completely ignoring the fact that 2020 had the highest rainfall in 20 years - in fact 70% higher than in 2010.
It's not like this information is difficult to find. My conclusion is this is trying to push a narrative.

Actual temperature 16C.

I’m in Scotland, I’ve had two vaccinations, but I point blank refuse to provide a vax passport to get into any venue. There are plenty of people who think the same way.
I'm coming around to the view that Starmer actually has the potential to be worse than Blair. Blair is an evil megalomaniac One World Government control freak, but at least he managed to pretend to give a fuck while in office. Whereas Starmer has gone straight to fuck you all.
@tomhfh
You clearly don't understand everything else that's going on in such work environments. The name tags are just a visible indicator of the nonsense that's being peddled across business now. Many of us view it as homophobic and misogynistic.
You've nailed it mate. No heating, no lights. You've successfully decarbonised the hall that you are in. Let us know how it's working out for you, and see if you can join the dots.

When I was in London I stopped using the tube as it really affected my breathing. Zero being done to sort pollution there. ULEZ expansion is simply about generating cash for TfL off the back of anyone unfortunate enough to both need a car, and be too poor to buy a compliant one.
This clip highlights the illogical thinking of Sadiq Khan. He wants the expansion of Ulez to encourage more Londoners to use public transport.

went to check the air quality on the underground network, he found that the air quality ranged from bad to hazardous.

A couple of quick question from a Scottish tax payer:
1. In the event of a vote for a ceasefire being passed in Parliament, what precise practical difference will it make to the conflict, other than allowing MPs to virtue signal over something they have zero influence over.
This video is just horrific. I fail to understand how somebody can be so violent. I hope and pray that the victim is ok.
Sick sick sick lock them up for life!
Also hope that those who witnessed it are seeking help.
Bring back train guards, needed more than ever.
I'm convinced this account is posts provocative stuff for engagement farming. Claims to be unemployed, on benefits, in a council house, but pays for a blue tick. Which, of course, you need if you are going to monetise that engagement.
@ron611087
Any Remainers out there looking at the EU and thinking, well that's a trading block that really knows how to be decisive in a crisis?
Anyone?
The new toilets at Waltham Forest Town Hall are pretty fancy.
Maybe I missed something but I’m not sure heated seats for Councillors to do their business was top of residents wish list when Labour raised Council Tax last year 🤷🏼♀️

It seems your argument is that we have criminals in the country already, so we might as well keep importing more, as that will clearly make the streets safer.
Apart from the stats showing that they aren't, of course.
Can you imagine how tragically empty your life must be to video your cycle to work everyday, then pore over the footage to find anyone doing something you don't like, editing it and posting on Twitter for engagement.
Utterly tragic behaviour.

So what's the degree in? If it's STEM, it's useful, and you'd have been making money. If it's an "all must win prizes" degree, congratulations, you've wasted time and money on what is clearly a worthless degree, otherwise you'd be making more.
An observation on Labour, and Jess Phillips specifically. Labour have spent decades sucking up to, and enabling, precisely the people who are shouting over her. The same ones she was pleading with to vote for her. Amusingly, the abuse she's getting is exactly how she acts.
Really ugly scenes during

‘ acceptance speech. Absolutely appalling; men shouting down a woman when she’s legitimately won an election is disgraceful and a bad look for our democracy.

I thought the same. I voted Leave because I could see the detrimental effects on people in normal jobs. I am one of the highly skilled IT professionals he's talking about, so he's talking out of his condescending arse.

Probably because people have a reasonable idea of the risk. Which is an daily average of less than one death per million, *from any cause* within 28 days of testing positive.
However I get that this doesn't drive masks sales.

I reported a few accounts celebrating the attack earlier.
Twitter: These tweets didn't breach rules.
So it's cool to celebrate violent attacks on people you don't agree with. Got it.

Yep, called it last year when they inadvertently put this list of fields on the NHSX website. It was obvious it was step one to a future entitlements access app.

I see Islington has a crime rate 9% higher than the London average, and 30% higher than the national average, the most common offences being sexual assault and violence.

If only there was some kind of registration number that could be used to identify the owner, then notify them of the damage. Someone should probably invent that.
