Can I just say, our @NHS is absolutely amazing. I was in extreme pain yesterday couldn’t sleep, called #NHS111 by dialling 111 on my phone and after explaining my symptoms got booked in at @WhippsCrossHosp where they performed a surgery and kept me overnight. Staff amazing.

Last night @iamferhankhan and I went to @edenbirmingham . The doorman asked for ID and asked if we'd been there before. Then rudely said Eden Bar is a gay & lesbian bar, were we aware of that?? Nice to be profiled, felt very welcoming(!)

My name has only two syllables ‘Fer’ pronounced like the ‘ur’ in ‘occur’ (like “does it occur to you how rude it is to mispronounce my name?”) and ‘han’ like ‘man’ (like “man, your deliberate mispronouncing of my name is #racist ”) #SayMyName correctly!

At home for Christmas 🎅🏾 this year I dressed as gay as I could get away with; channeling “in the Navy” by the village people. My Muslim family take baby steps in acceptance and this year was more validating than the last. It’s a PROCESS and takes time and takes love. #GayMuslim

Really feeling this today. I have nephews nieces and sisters that I’m unable to communicate with due to my #sexuality . There has been a death in the family and I’ve been shut-out of the grieving process. It’s really hard.
