This chant came out about 6 years ago, but some of the fan base are starting to sing it again. We think it’s a class chant, so let’s get it going properly today.
COYI ⚒️
The performance. Dreadful. The result. Embarrassing beyond belief.
However, today, something good also happened. In complete defiance, throughout the second half, we showed ourselves, despite the scoreline, and many followed.
We will get there.
We are west Ham til we die⚒️
Big chant this! Let's get it ringing around the stadium. 🎶⚒️
Mohammed, Kudus!
Running down the wing,
Kudus!
Hear the west ham sing,
Kudus!
We're all going to Dublinnnn...
At some point tonight, we are west ham's claret and blue army will be chanted. When it does, we are calling on the fans to just keep going, non stop, like the FA cup semi final in 1991. Even if on the back foot, or we concede. Get that energy up. We have a massive part to play.
CALLING WEST HAM FANS 📢
The journey to building a stronger atmosphere starts now. Our first fan-led display has been designed, and we need your help to bring it to life!
27th Oct vs Manchester United. Bobby Moore Lower.
By the fans. For the fans. ⚒️
The atmosphere on Monday night was alarming. We have seen an increasing number of fans pointing this out.
We remain dedicated to improving the match day atmosphere. Please spread the word.
We need as many fans behind us as possible!
Well then West Ham. If you want everyone to be safe while standing, and also make it an inclusive experience for everyone, you could easily do so by making the majority of the lower tiers all safe standing. Separate those who want to and those who don't.
It's time!!! ⚒️
That was a terrible loss today.
And to top it all off, that place has become a full on tourist trap.
It's feeling less West Ham over there by the week.
It doesn't help our team. It doesn't help the matchday experience, or the atmosphere.
Something has to change.
The atmosphere yesterday was absolutely brilliant for the majority of the game. It usually takes some doing to drown the German's out, and we did for most of it
The players and the fans can be proud of themselves. We stayed in the tie until the end and that's all we asked for ⚒️
A cult hero. A man who fully embraced west ham and understood what it meant to wear the claret and blue. An all round gentleman.
Pablo Fornals.
Thank you for the memories! 🫡
Yesterday was huge. Both for the club and our fan group. We pushed them on for every tackle, corner, breakaway and showed the raw passion we know exists. Lets continue to make the BML & 142 corner a vocal catalyst for the rest of the ground. Together, we'll be the 12th man ⚒️
Forget tonight's scoreline. We are still in this tie. Teams have come from further behind to win in the past.
This is our moment.
The players need us more than ever.
We have to create the best atmosphere our place has ever seen.
All of us together can do our bit.
👇COYI ⚒️
We have some brilliant news to share with our followers and the wider fan base this morning.
We are now officially an associate member of the Football Supporters Association (FSA) ! Their backing will be crucial.
This is a big step forward. We are here. We are serious.
⚒️
Just wow. This is phenomenal.
Its enough to give you goosebumps.
And he's absolutely right. We're all in this together.
Lopetegui and the players need our unwavering support through thick and thin.
We need maximum volume, starting tomorrow.
COYI. ⚒️
There is alot of talk on here about the atmsophere again today. Its becoming a serious concern and a lot of fans seem to feel the same. Enough is enough. Whether the team plays well or not, something has to change, because it cannot continue like this. Serious suggestions needed.
This is the place where it all begins.
Now imagine it was at least a few hundred more doing it. We'd get somewhere and there would be a difference.
We continue to believe. ⚒️
If any WH fans out there have been thrown off by just how BAD the atmosphere has become recently, and you want to try and make a difference, then please give us a follow and check us out.
Where there are fans that want to make a difference, there is always hope ⚒️
Calling all west ham fans,
This is a rallying cry. Sign this petition to push the club to introduce safe standing areas into the LS.
We strongly believe this will help the overall matchday experience for all.
Sign it and spread the word!

@UKChange
We just wanted to say a huge thankyou to those who joined us yesterday. We may not have pulled off the unthinkable on the pitch, but we battled to the end off it, and made some great memories.
We have very high hopes for our future. Things are starting to come together. ⚒️
THIS 👇.
We must do our part to stand a chance.
Both vocally and visually, we have to drive them on and create another Seville atmosphere. We have to believe.
Bring your voices, your scarves, your away day flags, your favourite jersey.
We can create a claret and blue sea. ⚒️
We’ve had some big nights. We’ve had some great atmospheres.
But tomorrow night, we have to produce the biggest and loudest atmosphere the London Stadium has ever seen.
The players and the manager have a lot to do, but we simply have to do our job in the stands.

Calling all

We feature in the matchday programme tonight. 💪
All our hard work is starting to pay off.
And we are very excited for what the future of our group holds.
COYI ⚒️
Thank you David Moyes for all the great times you have given us fans. From Seville, to Lyon, *that* famous night in Prague, and many more.
Though it is the right time to move on and part ways, whatever your views were on him, he deserves a raucous send off on Saturday.
⚒️
On this day in 2006, John Lyall passed away.
Tonight, it would be great if we all sing "Johnny Lyall's claret and blue army" as a tribute to one of our greatest managers.
Spine tingling:
Lets make another special European night atmosphere
COYI ⚒️
Off the back of Southampton and Luton Town's recent announcements to introduce safe standing to their stadiums, in addition to a number of other clubs that already have it, we will reiterate our strong beliefs on this:
If you would like to join our atmosphere section in 145, there are still tickets available in surrounding areas (blocks 146/142 etc). The General sale window opens today at 11am. Let’s use this opportunity to come together and act as a vocal catalyst for the rest of the ground ⚒️
We had a small issue with our X account, but we are back
In advance of the Villa game, we just wanted to clarify that any crowd displays or surfers tomorrow are the club's and not IWA's
Anything IWA does will be designed by us and funded by us, the fans
Details coming soon! ⚒️
Very rusty performance tonight.. but ultimately we got the win which is what matters ⚒️
As for the atmosphere - its games like tonight where we think a bit of a designated atmosphere section would be ideal to get the crowd going a bit, to get some noise going and for it to stick
IWA would like to extend their thanks to everyone who has supported us this season, whether by joining the group, attending our group meets or simply reposting our content.
Without revealing too much, if all goes to plan, next season will be very exciting for us indeed.
COYI⚒️
Moyes was recently quoted as saying:
"We need big atmospheres to give us every chance of getting results,”
“We’re just not quite getting it (the atmosphere) on Sunday at 2 o’clock here at the stadium,”
Let’s really get behind them vocally today and fight for those places
⚒️
A fantastic result tonight and a comfortable performance all around.
This is also probably a good time to reiterate our ideas below. The good entertaining performance tonight made no difference to the lack of atmosphere in the home end. Alot to think about. We keep going. ⚒️
Tonight was another very good example of why something needs to desperately change.
Our journey is in its infancy, but we are more determined than ever to make a difference to the atmosphere, and that journey starts against Bristol on Sunday in block 147
The old WH will return.
We are looking to continue with our ambitious plans for the Bayer Leverkusen game.
You can be part of our journey. In order to hear our plans ahead of time, join our WhatsApp community where we make regular announcements to improve the match day atmosphere 👇⚒️
Over half of the Premier league now have active groups dedicated to atmosphere, and the majority of them are not "ultras" style support. All these groups openly work with the club, and the club listens to them.
This is all we want to be.
🎶 WE’VE GOT SUPER TIMMY STEIDTEN
HE KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT WE NEED
HE’S JUMPING ON HIS JET
PAQUETAS HAD A BET
THAT WEST HAM WILL WIN THE PREMIER LEAGUE 🎶
⚒️⚒️⚒️
If this happens to you when you want to chant, then we have a longer term plan to get all those that want to actively create an atmosphere together in 145-147 of the BML, and beyond around those areas.
Come and join us, and we'll collectively get the atmosphere going ⚒️
We are pleased to announce that the half way point has been reached for our crowd fund target!
Please continue to share with any Hammers you know. Every little helps. Even the cost of a pint.
By the fans. For the fans. ⚒️
Big game today. We can get a result.
The fans will be needed today to push the players on, as we were when we beat them in the League Cup.
Let's back the boys and get the place bouncing from the first minute.
COYI ⚒️
Thank you all for your feedback over the last week, we have been listening to your opinions and including them in our discussions with the club.
We have calls planned with people on the supporters board and hope to give you news on relocation soon.
- Ironworks Alliance
We agree Tom. There needs to be a proper organisation of where different types of fans/match goers should sit/stand. Many other clubs have done this to great effect. Get everyone who wants to create the atmosphere together.
Its badly needed at our place.
We carry on pushing. ⚒️
There’s a lot of tourists floating about today, which I’m actually fine with, but they should be in the West Upper, with the media. Why don’t the club have a defined tourist section, as well as a defined singing/ standing section? Sounds contrived but might be worth trying.
We stand with
@ultrascpfc
in this message
Enough is enough, fans deserve more respect.
Fans spend their hard earned wages and treated like an afterthought
#Sayinourgame
We are calling on the
@premierleague
to have fan representatives involved in decisions. Time for supporters to have a proper say in OUR game.
#sayinourgame
A great piece here from 6 foot 2 and a thank you to Nigel, who mentions IWA as potentially being the answer to an often poor atmosphere at home.
We believe it's time to evolve and adapt to the new stadium to get the best out of it. ⚒️
Thanks Billy! We're glad to hear that our efforts in the 146 concourse got fans in the mood for the game. That's what this group is all about. We also want to bring the whole range of chants our fanbase has into our home, old or new.
Keep your eyes peeled for further updates ⚒️
@IWA1895
Fair play boys I was standing by the railing before kick off just out of shot in the video . Great to hear a sing song really helped get me in the mood for the game. Don't really hear much these days or hardly anything. Keep it up lads ⚒️💪
The performance. Dreadful. The result. Embarrassing beyond belief.
However, today, something good also happened. In complete defiance, throughout the second half, we showed ourselves, despite the scoreline, and many followed.
We will get there.

It is very disappointing to learn that West Ham have substantially increased the season ticket prices for next season, which is in contrast to the drop in inflation. Season ticket revenue is minimal compared to commercial and broadcast income.

While this was a great occassion for Colombian fans in the UK, and we have had our rare moments like this at the stadium too, we see clearly that it can be done in that place.
Although the stadium doesnt help, its up to the fans to overcome it and do our part. And we will ⚒️
I know I’m the biggest critic of the
@LondonStadium
……mainly because it’s a dogshit football stadium but listen to the noise from yesterday.
Maybe the
@IWA1895
project is absolutely vital and we are the problem.
Well done to
#NFFC
. Yet another premier league club introducing safe standing.
This was pushed by a Forest fan group, Forza Garibaldi, and the club are in open diaologue with them as to how to implement it.
This is how it's done. We hope
#WHUFC
follow same path one day soon.
Nottingham Forest considering introducing safe-standing next season
• Nottingham Forest Football Club is exploring the possibility of introducing safe-standing areas at the City Ground, joining several other Premier League clubs that have already implemented this feature.
•
It's game day.
Fulham always a great ground for the away day. Time for an East London takeover.
While you're here, a reminder of our crowdfund for our first fan led and funded display.
We are a club steeped in identity and history. Lets use it and show it to the World

Please check out Talking Hammers latest YouTube blog, where he talks about Ironworks Alliance, our display plans, and what we aim to bring to the stadium in further detail.
By the fans. For the fans.

We fully back this statement. As well as being incredibly unfair, there is a serious risk here of pricing out an entire generation, causing a long term snowballing effect of killing the magic, the atmospheres and the passion that gives football its appeal in the first place.
We have made a considered statement about season ticket pricing and the change to the terms around concessions that have been made at West Ham. We are very disappointed
A side note to this.
When our fans started doing this half way through the second half, although we were too far behind, you could feel see the players respond to it a bit. They knew they didn't deserve us that day, but fan power works. It adds the extra 10%.
We are West Ham's claret and blue army
It's our song, it's all we need to sing, forget the awful olympic clapping and let's get this going tomorrow and all our home games
@HammersUnited2
@WHU_ISC
@IWA1895
Wear your colours too
We did it at Fulham when 4-0 down for 20 mins
COYI
Its a shame PL clubs are going down this route and we hope it don't happen at West Ham. This just isn't real atmosphere. It doesn't come from the fans, it has no heart or soul. Its a sticking plaster in place of fans bringing their own scarves, flags, noise, and fan made displays
For the first time at
@SpursStadium
, we're staging a mobile phone light show against Brentford on Wednesday evening — enabling supporters to play their part in adding to the atmosphere 🙌

Putting the disappointment at Liverpool behind us, today is a massive game in the league, and it's always close at home against Man U.
The fans are nearly always up for it when they come to town, and we'll be needed again today to swing the tie in our favour.
Loud and proud. ⚒️
This is a prime example from another team's fan confirming that a dedicated section will improve an atmosphere.
We don't have to act like ultras, we don't necessarily need a drum.
We just have to come together and try to make a difference. ⚒️
As someone who’s season ticket is the other end of the ground to Union FS yesterday was first time in years I sat in the kop near them and first time I’d been near the signing section you don’t have to like Union FS but the signing section has massively improved the atmosphere
Astounded by the number of people that have chosen not to read this properly..
The whole point of this post is that we do NOT want an ultras style support with a drum, and we emphasise this because people always seem to think we do. We have other ideas (if you check the website)
Over half of the Premier league now have active groups dedicated to atmosphere, and the majority of them are not "ultras" style support. All these groups openly work with the club, and the club listens to them.
This is all we want to be.
Welcome Julen Lopetegui!
Our new gaffer knows what our fans are capable of. He values the support.
Getting behind him and the team is crucial
Join us in our revolution to create an atmosphere every game that our players can thrive off.
The fortress won't build itself
COYI ⚒️
Our crowdfund for our first fan led display is up and running.
We're doing well so far, but we need the help of you, our fellow hammers, to see it through.
Just 3 pounds each from 500-600 fans would see our target virtually met.
Anything you can give would be fantastic! ⚒️

The match going fans should always be put first. The club has an affordable football policy, however many will now be priced out.
We hope that, at the very least, the club will allow for proper relocation opportunities for fans who wish to move to lower price bands.
@WestHam
Another own goal by West Ham for fans
Rather than drafting threatening emails, start creating a designated standing area within the stadium
Offer seat swaps for fans who want to sit down / stand
We second these exact words! Every fan base should be given a chance to get the like minded fans together in an area of the stadium for a better chance of a better atmosphere 👏🏻
@TFMick1892
@tfNUFC
Good honest piece. We've always maintained that we do not 'blame' any demographic. Everyone is entitled to support in a way they wish. We would just like the opportunity to join like-minded people in singing for 90 minutes regardless of the score.
Fan site West Ham Till I Die have written a great article on the atmosphere and on the IWA who are kicking off our journey to change that.
WH fans give it a read. ⚒️
Now West Ham season ticket renewals and relocations are underway again
We would like to again encourage any passionate and vocal fans who want to get the atmosphere going to relocate to the BML next season ⚒️
@GrazaWhu
The point of posting those pictures was that it looks amazing when the fans do it themselves, as they did in those cup finals.
It's time for the fans to take some partial responsibility and take it into our own hands to get that place really bouncing and looking a spectacle ⚒️
Despite the result yesterday, if there is anyone who is also unhappy with the overall matchday experience and atmosphere in general, we implore you to give this a watch, see our views, and back us.
We want to try and change things for the better 👇⚒️
