IPPN welcomes the DE's decision to reintroduce the banked hours facility which we have been campaigning for since its removal in Oct.
This will better ensure that children with additional needs are not further disadvantaged by a lack of substitute teachers.

In September 2023, Louise - Principal of St. Joseph's Primary School in Tipperary Town - will assume her role as President. Louise brings a wealth of experience in primary education.
Closing the conference today, IPPN Deputy President Louise Tobin gave a précis of the event. Summing up she noted 'We will leave Killarney today with a great sense of hope, gifted to us in the Sustainable Leadership Report Launched by our President Brian O’Doherty'.
