Announcing: INDUSTRIA 2
A narrative FPS adventure about a woman stranded in a parallel dimension, trying to find a way home.
Explore, scavenge and fight in a strange boreal landscape consumed by ever-hungry machines.
Every Wishlist helps so much: 💙
INDUSTRIA is:
- about 4 hours long
- priced at 20$
- singleplayer story
- our first game
- made by 2-6 people in their freetime.
I often get messages about pre-ordering, 12 hour campaigns, multiplayer and comparisons to AAA games. We cant deliver that.
In the world of pixel shit roguelikes with depressed gay protagonis, we will appreciate industria dev for making an indie narrative atmospheric FPS inspired by the GOATS Bioshock and Half Life 2.
Hey

!
This is INDUSTRIA, a Surreal Mystery FPS inspired by Half-Life 2, Bioshock and the works of David Lynch, ready to Wishlist on Steam:
This started with 2 devs 4 years ago!
Its our first game, so every support helps us so much❤️
Still shaking from the adrenaline. Yesterday we announced our slow paced FPS adventure in the Future Games Show: INDUSTRIA 2.
Cant believe this started with a team of 2 as a hobby project. Thank you everyone for the support!
We are making a slow paced narrative FPS and currently setup our weapons:
Hunt: Showdown style First-Person controler + physics based mouse interaction on doors and phys objects.
testing our new adaptive music system for our narrative FPS and getting absolutely wrecked by the robot enemies
should have upgraded the shotty first lol
not even close to the elegance of source 2 but this is our setup in ue5 using a wild mixture of simple grid based meshes, hotspots and vertex painting.
Today we're showing the first gameplay teaser for our upcoming narrative FPS INDUSTRIA 2. This time it gets stealthy, diegetic and hectic...
We're so proud of our tiny talented team and cant wait to hear what you think💙
We have a date.
INDUSTRIA will release on Steam, GOG and Epic Games september 30th. Cant quite believe it, but here is the release date teaser!
As always, every RT and Wishlist helps so much:
Thank you everyone for being a part of this journey🚀
Surprise surprise!
INDUSTRIA is out on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S... Right now?!?!
A narrative sci-fi FPS playing out in a surreal parallel dimension between East-Berlin and a city overrun by hostile automatons.
Going consoles means a lot to us 🥰
Hunt: Showdown style lowered weapons per default... but for a narrative singelplayer FPS?
Right click for hipfire, shift to aim. Would love to hear your thoughts on this!
We are proud on this game we created in our bedrooms in the last 5 years. Its full with love, passion and inspiration. No AAA, no AA, but as Indie as it gets. Felt the need to share this with you❤️
The narrative FPS adventure Industria 2 follows a woman stranded in a parallel dimension fighting her way through a mysterious boreal landscape consumed by an ever-hungry artificial intelligence.

Since it's 2 years of
#HalfLifeAlyx
let's appreciate the person at Valve who built these absolutely beautiful backdrop buildings which consist of only one model and one texture each.
It's god's work.
oh and normalizing talking about depression is a good thing. nearly everyone I know has gone through it at some point. dont mock artists who made themselves vulnerable by talking about it.
INDUSTRIA is a Mystery Shooter about a woman searching her loved one in a sureal parallel dimension. Inspired by Half-Life 2 and Bioshock, we aim for a release in Q1 2021.
A Wishlist on Steam supports us ALOT🚀❤️

Yes, fundamentally changing a game people own and paid money for is not cool I guess.
Whatever you do though, you gonna do it wrong for someone. And that someone is going to vocalize their opinion and you need to deal with it.
So we made this narrative & atmospheric first-person shooter inspired by Half-Life 2 and David Lynch as our first game in our freetime and released it nearly one year ago.
Well, INDUSTRIA is 40% off on Steam right now for a full week:
This is probably the biggest learning experience for gamedevs (especially Indies) I guess.
Even if you spend your weekends to peacefully give players a little nice suprise in form of a game update, someone will come in and call you out for exactly that.
Feel sorry for the devs.
Without being anywhere near that big, we had similar critique. Which was valid, as we focused mainly on visuals, audio and atmosphere but called it a FPS.
Its all about expectations. Scorn looks absolutely mesmerizing, cant wait to play it!
If you're going into Scorn expecting a shooter or traditional survival horror, don't.
It's more like Giger-esque Myst-like. There's apparently weapons/enemies later, but they're likely to be puzzle-y too.
Great interaction animations lol
Heyyy, we released a little devlog where we talk about how we are making INDUSTRIA 2. Prepare for nerdy insights into code, audio, music and animation.

We need your help!
INDUSTRIA currently sits at 69% positive on Steam, just 1% away from "mostly positive". That makes a huge difference in how the game gets handled by Steam.
We see the performance problems and are working 24/7 on patches. Every positive review helps so much❤️
Oh and to make that clear, the patches were a little bit of balancing and visual level design improvements + tons of quality of life stuff.
We did *not* fundamentally change the game. INDUSTRIA is just now in a better state it ever was in and we're proud of that!
Hey Twitter, our first game which we developed in our freetime throughout 5 years is 50% off on Steam!
Its a narrative FPS about a woman searching her loved one in a parallel dimension on the evening of the fall of the Berlin wall.
Thats a steal👀
Not sure how long it takes to grow thick skin and just not care anymore.
But if your Indie and your handling your socials yourself (like you kind of need nowadays), some of these comments will catch you when your skin is a little thinner anyway.
Although we know our debut game is not perfect and will never be, we are still humbled by all the support and review number 1000 ♥️
We can't wait to show you with our next title what we learned from this very special experience!
And lets be experimentally Indie with it. Lets do weird stuff and tell stories that were too unpopular and strange for AAA.
There is SO much potential!
Anyway, peace and love goes out, also for the person who wrote this. Its a confusing world we live in and the digital, distanced nature of it makes it worse for everyone.
Im sure if I met the person irl, we would have had a nice conversation about the subject.
