@MustardSFM Diffeomorphic with Disabled Drivers - 58 fps. After "Data Removal" - 72 fps. Diffeomorphic with Enabled Drivers - 36 fps. After "Data Removal" - 36 fps. Cool. But what exactly does the addon remove? How safe is it?

@miki3dxart There is nothing worthwhile. To begin with, you need a very good rig of hands, what rigify or MHX gives is too weak. I saw a good rig at Chris Jones. Based on it, you can try to build an installation on shrinwraps. I saw one dude do what we want in Maya.

@Rekin3D @Fiki_00 I tried it. In some cases, 0.005 looks like a contact shadow. In other cases, contact shadow looks better, especially in places of contact. Anyway, this is a good solution because when the camera moves, contact shadow tend to disappear due to the fact that they are screen space.

@avstraldreams But imagine how cool it would be if AI rendered realistic hair in 1 second, based on low poly hair without a heavy shader. This would save rendering time at least, not to mention that it's not so easy to make a cool realistic hairstyle.

@gifdoozer I don't think that's a good idea. Firstly, this is a big load for the render, and secondly, it just looks strange. At least these hairs in this screenshot are located incorrectly, they should not just go up, they are usually located along.

@gifdoozer @MustardSFM Dude, you have a subdivision in your modifiers that disables this addon. And are you happy with +10000% fps? Just check the box on Simplify in the blender settings. But disabling normals in eevee is a really useful button.

@gifdoozer @MustardSFM And the broken animation I was talking about, it was due to the fact that the addon disabled the Hook modifier. In the new version, it does not disable it by default, and there is a choice of modifiers to disable.

@gifdoozer @MustardSFM Well, this is a different scene, there is a different animation and there is an animation of the tentacle, most likely that's why there is less FPS here. I'm not saying that the addon is bad, just 1400% is not quite true.

@avstraldreams Then it's not impressive. If AI itself would offer a better frame, then it would be cool. In the current version, it is not clear where it can be used. I don't think this will work for animation.

@kisx3D What's wrong with her lips? You needlessly remove all the color from the skin, the characters begin to look like plastic dolls. They should have slight redness on the nose, cheeks, etc. You changed its make-up and now it looks different from the original.

@miki3dxart You should disable all subdivision modifiers. This can be configured in the "Simply" parameter. The subd eats up a ton of fps. Also, if the hair has more than 10k polygons, then you'd better hide them. Drivers also eat up a lot of fps.

And there is no 1400%, ahaha, unless of course you have set 6 subd or 10 smooth modifier for 200 iteratio
