I’m an avid reader, like it’s insane. My daughter still doesn’t enjoy reading. One of her earlier teachers suggested I stop encouraging full novels. Just do blogs, articles, short stories, etc. based on topics should would be interested in learning about. That helped.

My male friend told me his pastor had an event like this for men. He said they cried about the stories men shared. Most were about male to male molestation and generational trauma.

I know several men from therapist, to former felons, pastors, and in between that have tried to create safe spaces for men, y’all don’t show up. And when y’all do, you deflect and refuse to take responsibility for your life. They end up just as frustrated as women are.
