Tbh, don't know the difference between cancer free and radiographically cancer free but I know it is really good news. Oncologist said it means even though I'm stage 4, right now scans aren't showing much for cancer and immunotherapy is working way better than expected 💪💪

3 years ago today I was diagnosed with stage 4 nasopharynx carcinoma and given a year to live. Thanks to radiation and immunotherapy I'm still here 3 years later fighting and praying for a cure. Still catching big fish, chasing tornadoes, and cheering my beloved @Brewers !!!

In a year of lifetime auroras, northwest Wisconsin showed out again yesterday. In the morning, pink auroras so strong the pink could be seen by eye not just on camera, even through sun rise and the moon. That night, auroras so red they shined through cloud cover. Bonkers!!

Latest scans are in. I'm still cancer free. 26 months and counting now. Aside from right sinus disease where the main tumor was, scans were good overall. Celebrating by going fishing since the Brewers game is rained out. Much love to y'all 🫶 🙂 #Rapala #CrushCity

Finally got my Lake Superior auroras last night after years of busts. 3rd lifetime aurora this year and the brightest naked eye aurora I have seen in 13 years of shooting them. Could look directly overhead!! Magic. 4 shots for now, many more to come. Port Wing, Wisconsin.

Yesterday my uncle David passed away after a short battle with cancer. I have my next round of immunotherapy and cancer scans next week. If next week's scan is clear I will be two years in remission. Today's win brought some joy when it was much needed. Let's go Packers!!

Wall cloud and lightning on a tornado warned monster supercell near Hugo, Minnesota y'day. More photos later and a 10 minute video of the supercell including a bolt that hit so close I heard it sizzle seen sparks and my feet tingled for 5 secs. Y'day was insanity.

Yesterday was the perfect chase day. Tornado near Dubuque, Iowa and ended the day the way I love to end all chase days. Mammatus selfie at sunset. This storm complex put on quite the mammie show. This was on the Wisconsin side of the bridge crossing the Mississippi river to Iowa.

I love how all the nurses at the cancer center are asking me about the snow tonight and Sunday and at Kwik Trip a lady who follows my weather page on FB told me her son loves my chasing live streams and wants to be a weatherman because of me 😀🌪️💪 I take great pride in that 🥹🥹

Better news than expected. Cancer didn't shrink but also didn't grow. At the very least I've bought myself a few more months until next scan. On top of how long I've been fighting, not bad for a generally fatal cancer. I'm putting up a worthy fight which is all I can really do.

So yeah, becoming a big believer in edibles. Not only do they help my pains and apetite loss from cancer, but they are easing my depression a bit, edibles and video games currently have me in the most chill mood I have been in for like a week. They seem to work.

Test is negative, I've officially beat covid because I'm a bad mofo and covid is weak sauce. Going home to western Wisconsin tomorrow. Now I can get back to beating cancer hopefully 🙏 still dealing cancer pain and fatigue but covid symptoms have been done for two days.

Cancer treatment day today and I am feeling it physically and mentally. Storm chasing lately has been a nice relief but that's only temporary. So, don't be surprised if you don't hear from me for a few days maybe a week. Take care of yourselves. Go Brewers.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention. Scans after treatment said I am still cancer free til at least the next scan. Happy about that. But my mental/physical health battles and survivors guilt from others around me dying of cancer have me incredibly broken at the moment.

I know I've been quiet the past week. Life is bad and I'm not okay. The physical and emotional pain are too much, I don't want to do it anymore. Anyways just checking in and now I'm going to go dose myself to the eye balls on pain meds. Go Brewers I guess.

Cancer treatment went poorly. Currently in ER to have my head scanned due to neurologists issues. Docs have mentioned anything from brain bleed to stroke, don't think it's that serious but guess we'll see what scans say. Fun day 😔

My only gripe today from the game today, so many brewer fans around me crapping all over yelich every at bat. He may not be hitting Bombs yet but he's hitting. Sure looks better than the last two years, be happy about it?? Also cutch is gonna rake at home this season 😍😍

Cancer treatment day. Scan was kind of a bummer as a nodule has formed on my lung that is worrisome for being metastic. Gonna give it two more months of immunotherapy to see if it stays stable or not, gonna try to not think about that until next cycle, and go Brew Crew!!

Thought nothing could be worse than aggressive chemo. Physical therapy might be worse. If I can regain the use of my neck and other muscles without pain it'll be worth it I'm sure, but the first few days of deep tissue massage are torture. So much pain 😔 I want to quit so bad.

What a game to be at!! Last minute decision to go today and boy am I glad I did!!! Walk it off Willy!! Haven't been to a game since early June which is too long. Mind needed it badly and the @Brewers have won the last 16 in a row I've been too!!

Thank you all for the love I'm blown away. Unfortunately I'm in bad shape and probably not leaving the hospital anytime soon. My kidney numbers are bad and I have fluid in my lungs. I'm still not really sure what going on but I know it's bad and I'm scared 😭😭

Just arrived at the hospital. Can't breathe and just generally not feeling well. Not sure if it's related to my cancer or what but docs are worried and I'm being admitted. I'm nervous 🤷😭

Health update: turns out my decline in health wasn't my cancer, my thyroid numbers went through the roof again. They upped my dose of thyroxine, and while it'll take a while to feel as good as I was, I've already noticed improvement in two days. I can get out of bed a little bit.
