Just realised Conflated is 9/2 for the Bowl. Ludicrous price really. He beat Minella Indo by 5L at Leoparstown and he'd have been a good second to Allaho in the Ryanair before his unlucky tumble. Decent ground will also suit him. They won't be be able to live with him

1) Douvan's cruising speed was alien. 2) If Douvan wasn't around, would Sizing John have ended up recording that magnificent spring treble in 2017? 3) The racing world was robbed of Altior vs Douvan year in, year out. It would have been 1 for the ages.

Some horses that have been given good chances by the handicapper this season. Frodon, Coole Cody, Stage Star etc. Can someone tell me how the hell Minella Times is still rated 160 in UK? He's completed 1 start since he won the National off 146 in 21...It's a shocking assessment

Jungle Boogie didn't half travel through the Gold Cup. He made an error at the worst possible time (3rd last). He lost confidence after that as a result If he was an intended runner in the Bowl, I'd be very tempted to back him now at 20/1. Im struggling to find 3 better than him

If I was JJ Slevin and/or Davy Russell. I'd be going like the clappers in the Irish Arkle. Most of Willie's runners have not had their jumping put under real pressure, ironically with the exception of his biggest priced runner and Grade 1 winner, Saint Roi.

The "bubble burst" term is one of the most lazy takes in racing. A bubble bursting is a horse falling below expectations more than once, not going down to a Grade 1 winner rated 160 in a driving finish on your first start of the season 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️
