What a popular racehorse - and what a talent, too.
Four-time Grade 1 winner Flemenstar strikes for his final career victory at the 2015

Christmas Festival.
Not long until this year's meeting now, all live on Racing TV!
"This is a maiden hurdle, George. Most horses will not want to get within 50 lengths of the winner in one of these races, particularly during the winter. Oink.
The skill here is let the horse enjoy itself without breaching rule 212A. We'll have more on Rule 212A later". Oink
How about this for a complex sport finding a way to connect with kids! Nickelodeon had a live feed for the Super Bowl that featured cartoon overlays, Dora The Explorer explaining the rules and more. Could we get Peppa Pig to explain the handicap system?!
I'd love to see Nick Kyrgios reaction after backing an unlucky loser.
Imagine his reaction if he had his conkers on Goshen in the Triumph Hurdle or something

@SkySportsNews
In fairness, PES watch their Ps & Qs when it comes to licensing.
For example, who can forget the epic clashes between Merseyside Red and Merseyside Blue down the years ๐๐
Great to see English racing fans coming in their droves to Leopardstown for the DRF.
The result, a fantastic weekend's racing and maybe even a strong message sent to Cheltenham in terms of value for money...
Heads will be turned this weekend ๐๐๐ป
Fair play to Gordon Elliott. It's probably been a frustrating week for him, especially after having the second and third there.
Still congratulates Willie on a phenomenal achievement ๐๐ป
Almost died today.
A robber came into my house with a loaded gun and aimed at me.
Luckily, there was a Cheltenham preview on the tele discussing at length what race Ballyburn may or may not run in.
He suddenly started watching and fell asleep. Thank God
Shaquille is like someone that won't do an inch of study for an exam, be up til 4am partying the night before and still rock up and get an A. Mighty.
You can't help but wonder how long it'll be until the quirks get the better of him, though
Horrible news that a jockey has passed away in Kerry today and people think they can name someone not knowing for sure if that's the person that's passed away or not. Probably just for some likes as well. ๐คฆโโ๏ธ
Really distasteful. Even if true, some family members may not know yet
The Mounted Branch is an integral part to

Gain an insight into how they train ex-racehorses to ensure they are prepared for any situation.
Hewick and Shark Hanlon is what racing is all about.
Nobody gives a ๐ฉ about winning records. It's about the races you win, or failing that, races you contribute to the memory of.
Connections had a go at the Galway Plate, it didn't work out, yet they still come away with a KG๐
Just realised Conflated is 9/2 for the Bowl. Ludicrous price really.
He beat Minella Indo by 5L at Leoparstown and he'd have been a good second to Allaho in the Ryanair before his unlucky tumble.
Decent ground will also suit him.
They won't be be able to live with him
1) Douvan's cruising speed was alien.
2) If Douvan wasn't around, would Sizing John have ended up recording that magnificent spring treble in 2017?
3) The racing world was robbed of Altior vs Douvan year in, year out. It would have been 1 for the ages.
The flat season is not even a week old. Chazzesmee having a crack at the Lincoln double is already more interesting than 90% of what's happened in the last 5 months
After a few hiccups, the Cheltenham book will be finished tonight!
If you would like a free copy, DM me your email and I will get it over to you between Friday and Sunday! (I will reply to the DM once I've sent the email). Every race is covered with plenty of bets! ๐
Willie Mullins is going to be leaving Cheltenham with 10 winners and no stable jockeys, after they rack up 400 days worth of ridiculous whip bans ๐๐ญ
Ballyadam is 10lbs better off with Langer Dan based off their Coral Cup meeting.
Am I missing something or should Ballyadam not be a significantly shorter price for that Select Hurdle?
I must say, I'm blown away by the interest the Cheltenham book generated!
It took a while, but after 100s of emails, you should all have the book now! Let's hope for some winners! ๐
I'd also like to say thank you as well to those that made a donation, that was awfully kind! ๐
A race I referenced a lot last week
The JP & M.Doyle (C & G) Flat Race - Punchestown 27th April 2023
1) Ballyburn (Supreme)
2) Dancing City (Bartlett)
3) Slade Steel (Baring Bingham)
Top top bumper. Miles better than the Grade 1 on the card that week.

I don't care if he was beat twice. Galopin Des Champs is easily my NH Horse of the year.
Awesome in the Savilles. Followed up in the DRF and of course the Cheltenham GC.
Totally underappreciated achievement
Some real banter campaigning with this thing ๐คฃ
2 handicaps on the flat over 8f and 9.5 at Southwell and Wolves respectfully
A 2m H'cap hurdle at Market Rasen. A 2m 5f H'cap chase at Fakenham..
The duck egg finally broken in *checks notes* a 3m3f handicap chase at Stratford ๐คฃ
Haven't had a proper look but it appears Vanillier has gotten away with murder? 10st 8lbs? ๐ง
Any Second Now is probably smashing up his stable after seeing that
What's the difference between Jeriko Du Reponet today and Daddy Long Legs yesterday? Is the the perception of the track?
Daddy Long Legs did the exact same to very likely a much better calibre of horse ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
The worst part about Vanillier being second hasn't even set in yet.
The British Assessor will give the poor bastard a good 10lbs for that, to ensure he takes up the Any Second Now role for the next 2 years
Commander of Fleet. One of seven runners in the Coral Cup in 2022 for Gordon Elliott.
Proposed new rules may well have cost Commander of Fleet, connections and Shane Fitzgerald a Cheltenham Festival win. ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
Shishkin was only getting going.
Another reason why the Ryanair Chase shouldn't exist. That was a Gold Cup calibre run by Shishkin and we'll likely be robbed of him having a go
Gavin Cromwell getting Bardenstown Lad to jump with competency over fences is right up there with the likes of Jesus walking on water for all time great miracles
@TracksideJay
Could imagine Aidan now, "agh yeah no we're delighted. Davey who rides him, Sheamie who rides him in work, Kate who looks after him, Graham who lets off the fireworks before work."
Everyone was delighted
Why is every NH fan not gushing over Listowel this week?
This festival has thrown up plenty of spring festival winners in recent years
Instead, it's Chepstow this and Chepstow that. Respectfully, Chepstow is absolute ๐ฉ
Impervious can either run in the Mares Chase and give weight away, or go to the Turners and get 7lb.
Absolutely no brainer decision. Big performance giving weight away there
Some horses that have been given good chances by the handicapper this season. Frodon, Coole Cody, Stage Star etc.
Can someone tell me how the hell Minella Times is still rated 160 in UK? He's completed 1 start since he won the National off 146 in 21...It's a shocking assessment
Jungle Boogie didn't half travel through the Gold Cup. He made an error at the worst possible time (3rd last). He lost confidence after that as a result
If he was an intended runner in the Bowl, I'd be very tempted to back him now at 20/1. Im struggling to find 3 better than him
The final stages of the Cross Country at Cheltenham.
It's not many people's cup of tea seemingly, but it's one of my favourite races of the entire week.
It's a unique test that should be embraced and cherished more
Here's a question ๐ค
If Flooring Porter was to win the Stayers Hurdle this year & assuming he wasn't backed into fav, would he become the first 3 time festival winner that did not go off fav in any of his races? Can anyone name another?
2021 -12/1
2022 -4/1
2023 -Currently 6/1
Spillane's Towers date with destiny today.
Let's hope he announces himself on the big stage today! ๐
Hoping for a big run from Attaboycharlie too! What an Easter Sunday ahead!! ๐ซ๐ฅ

This meeting getting talked about and previewed all year, 24/7.
3 of the 4 handicaps so far haven't filled and the majority of talk was about what races horses will go for / who is avoiding who.
Time for a rethink.
A milestone episode brings us to

We're very grateful for all the support, it's been an amazing journey so far, thank you

If I was JJ Slevin and/or Davy Russell. I'd be going like the clappers in the Irish Arkle.
Most of Willie's runners have not had their jumping put under real pressure, ironically with the exception of his biggest priced runner and Grade 1 winner, Saint Roi.
My thoughts on the Bronn Advisory!
If Gerri Colombe is your festival nap, you cannot leave Bronn sitting there at 50/1.
If Mighty Potter is your idea of your festival banker, similar can be said about Adamantly Chosen (18/1). He was supplemented for this race post publishing ๐
@IrelandFootball
Really solid first half against a top quality Latvia side.
Can see us causing France all sorts of problems next week. Gotta trust the process!

People are usually falling over themselves to hype bumper horses on this app. I've made no secret as to what I think of graded bumpers.
Alas, study had to be done for this week. Have I missed something Jerobaum Machin?๐คจ
Beating DB Cooper easily at Fairyhouse is strong form ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
The "bubble burst" term is one of the most lazy takes in racing.
A bubble bursting is a horse falling below expectations more than once, not going down to a Grade 1 winner rated 160 in a driving finish on your first start of the season ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ
