Uri Avneri fought for the establishment of a Palestinian state next to Israel—back when that was considered crazy and today, when that’s considered impossible. His death feels personal to me. I read every word he wrote for at least 10 yrs. May his model of conscience guide us.

51% of voters support annexation, 26% opposes it & 23% said they "don't know.” That last stat is critical: true leadership in this election would be convincing as many as possible of those ~1.5m undecided Israelis to oppose it. You’d also win the election.
