Today I had a glimpse of the future: an online robotic game of #Crokinole . Very impressed at @GulliverTruffle 's technical skills creating a disc-flicking machine I could manoeuvre remotely. Especially as controls were refined enough to let me get a 20.

@ZipLockBagMan @error454 You've got the gist of it there, the nodes use UEs latent action stuff so the execution of the next part of the test is delayed until the other process has done its bit and yielded back, that lets you write async networked tests in a linear way that's fairly easy to reason about.

@NineOfNein @BIGsheep If the goal is to check it's spawning correctly in retail I'd probably check the telemetry - comparing spawn rate vs something like total player hours. A unit test for this would prove it's possible for it to spawn, but not that it actually does in practice.
