Happy New Year to Next of Kin of our beloved children, parents, siblings & partners missing from our side. We pray for more kindness & understanding.
Our lives stopped too on 14 June 2017 but faith whispers to us to keep us going.
My husband.
I was married for 25 years.
On 14th June a terrible fire broke out in Grenfell Tower in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea.
My husband tired to help 4 women who took refuge in our flat. 2 of them were disabled.
I miss you.
It is moments like this that give us hope.
There are great people in our country. Ethical and with integrity, intelligence and courage and when those dots meet and join forces incredible things happen that lift the spirit.
We must have hope.

Glad to see this, but it took some very hard work from campaigners (including many of us in the House of Lords!) to get the Govt to make its developer friends, who made profits from the faulty cladding, pay up.
Boxes of donated clothes after Grenfell, clogged up streets & community centres. It was well meaning, though at times it felt as though people just wanted a clear out. Instead of 2nd hand clothes what people needed was vouchers so they could buy their own.
