Yesterday, I signed a contract for a new book: Hegel and the Kyoto School. It will appear in the Cambridge Elements series on the Philosophy of Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel (edited by Sebastian Stein and Joshua Wretzel.) It should appear by the Spring or the Summer of 2025.

Thanks to all the contributors to this forthcoming volume on negation in Post-Kantian Philosophy. It’ll be published by Springer in fall 2022. There are a number of papers on Kant’s Table of Nothing, Fichte, Schelling, and Hegel, as well as Günderrode, Cohen, and Cassirer.

There is a new colloquium, "The Athens Colloquium on German Idealism.” I've been invited to speak on Dec. 12th. I'll be discussing a draft: Hegel's Logic of Self-Predication, in which I make an effort to think through Hegel’s logic and it’s relation to formal logic.

Too many people look elsewhere for models to grasp Hegel- such as Kant or Aristotle. Let’s read Hegel on his own terms!

It’s another thing to maim the text. Pippin has no idea what to do with the ontological argument-he says as much. I reconstruct and evaluate Priest and Gabriel's position, and develop my own views in dialogue with their positions. Is there such a thing as a world? I argue that the world exists, but that the existence of the world is a true contradiction, what I call "Absolute Dialetheism."
