@Leviswaifi
Kurds are a predominantly Muslim nation. Are we not indigenous then? The maker of this map has literally excluded every ethnic group that predominantly practices Islam. This is plain hatemongering
Erdogan keeps a harsh tone towards a Quran burner, while having a huge portrait of Ataturk, one of 20th centuries' biggest enemies of Islam, hanging in his office.
How are people actually buying his lies?

and all I see is a bunch of Iranians 😂 Iranians, if only you cared that much about the rights of the people living under your rule.
The fact that all of Iran submitted to Shiism, but Kurds resisted, EVEN the ones who were left under Safavid rule, is a testimony to how deeply ingrained Sunnism is in Kurdish ethnic awareness.
Every Iranic family should look and dress something like this and if you don’t, then you need to work on taking the necessary steps in life to get here
Also, I've heard that many local Muslims in Dohuk City will not buy meat from Yazidi shops since the animals are not butchered in accordance with Islamic manners.
The ignorance and discrimination that Islam causes in Kurdish society is terrifying.
Islam is evil.
Islam is simply an ill-fitting bridle for Iranic peoples.
In some uneducated regions and tougher times, it provided stability and necessary social structure, but underneath it all these were always Persians, Bactrians, Scythians, Sarmatians, Cimmerians, Alans and Sakas.
On the first picture you have Salih Muslim, a man who gave great sacrifices to defeat ISIS, including his own son. On the second picture is R.T. Erdogan, a man that funded ISIS and now directly continues its legacy.
Guess who has been arrested in Europe.
#FreeSalihMuslim
Those Kurdish Islamophobes who keep on yapping about how Islam is responsible for everything from Kurdish statelessness to their failed exams, are arguably of the exact culture that is responsible for all Kurdish troubles.
Attempts to present Salahaddin Ayyubid as an Arab come from a place of deep-rooted racism against Kurds. A certain demographic has been taught to look down on Kurds for so long, that someone like Salahaddin being Kurdish just doesn't fit into their worldview.
May there be a deep place in jahannam reserved for those who justify bombing Kurdish cities, occupying Kurdish land, and killing Kurdish civilians. Particularly for the hypocrites among them.

was always Kurdish, is always Kurdish and will always be Kurdish. Iraqis knew it less than a century ago, nationalistic ignorance isn't gonna change reality
The Kurdish "Anti-Nationalism" crowd are extremely cringy. They seem to think that Kurdish Nationalism is the same as far-right Nationalism in Europe. That's nonsense. Kurdish Nationalism is survivalist, striving to preserve Kurdish existence as we're facing existential threats.
Of course, this is why we don't want anything to do with Iran. Thanks for explaining it.
And it's funny that you consider this insulting. Our leader, Qazi, took pride in his execution, he stated "even in death, my feet will be above the heads of my enemies". May God forgive him
Menucihr Mosque is a mosque in the ruined medieval Armenian city of Ani. It was built by Ebu’l Manuçehr Bey of the Kurdish Shaddadid dynasty. It is the first mosque built in Anatolia.

is horrible, but people mustn't fall for the disgusting narrative of Turkey and Iran. Kurds are killed every day under the rule of both regimes.

To be a feminist as a Muslim basically means that you don't have faith in Allah's judgement, because Islam is a religion that has clearly defined the rights of all people.

against fascists and imperialists. The brave women and men of Efrin will resist oppression, it's time to speak up, silence is in favour of evil.
It's a painful reminder about how little value Kurdish lives have in this World, when Turkey does one decent thing for Ukraine, and is suddenly considered a Nation of Saints.
@snarwani
When Arabs, Turks, Iranians fight for their freedom, that's a good thing, when Kurds do, it's a bad thing? Seems to me like you really don't consider Kurds as equals, and that is pretty f-ing racist on your behalf.
@delkenya1
@Strangestborde
"Peaceful" because it's Kurds on both sides! The same People that have been divided by borders set up by oppressive invasive Countries in the Kurdish homeland.
Listen to Anti-Islam Kurds is much like listening to the average Persian whining about the Islamic invasion 14 centuries ago. Because really, throughout the entirety of your modern history, who has caused us most harm, Muslims or Seculars?
It's wrong to call Kurds ethnonationalists. We Kurds were the last people to call for nation-states. But, since we got a world of Nation-states, it's only fair that we rule over ourselves, rather than being subjected to other peoples' nation-states.
For a thousand years of Pre-Islamic Persian Imperial history, they made a small handful of contributions to knowledge and science. All their famous scholars, scientists, writers and poets are from the Post-Islamic period.
And they have the audacity to whine about Islam.
What I love about Kurds, is that they've never eyed what others have. All they've ever asked for is what's rightfully their own, and they're content with that. Quite in contrast to their neighbours.

Man's "Anti-Zionist" while casually erasing the existence of a whole culture lmao
No we are not "The original Persians". Kurdish as a language is most likely derived from Parthian for whatever it's worth. Either way, the whole argument is insane

I wonder how they will depict him!
By now i'm positive that Islamophobes in Kurdish circles are among the biggest internal threats to Kurdish well being. They wanna convince you that we've been slaves for 1400 years and that all of our recorded history is useless. Instead we should larp as ancient Persians lmao
I grew up being accused of being a kafir for my Kurdish ethnicity, all because of the lies of people such as Erdogan.
Now look what Erdogan's caliphate is doing to Muslims
A Muslim writer cited a fatwa allowing Syrian refugees to avoid Friday prayers at mosques in Turkey to evade police checks.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights called the campaign “inhumane”, urging Ankara to halt the “degrading” deportations

The same countries that condone Islamist terrorists are now also silent in the face of Turkish Islamist atrocities committed against the Kurdish people.
The Kurdish struggle in the Academic field, summarized:
in the 3rd millennium BC there was a city state in the heart of Kurdistan named "Kurda", yet the obscure Persian term "kwrt" is what we're being associated with instead🤡

I have a question for you. How come my people's existence is an Imperialist plot, but the existence of countries like Iraq and Syria, which were literally drawn on a map by those same Imperialists, is not?
@D_abdulkader
You need to reevaluate this claim. Whenever a survey is conducted, Kurds turn out overwhelmingly Pro-Palestine, even among the diaspora in Western countries.
You know how they always claim that we Muslim Kurds are assimilating into Arab ideology?
We should respond by pointing out how Anti-Islam Kurds are assimilating into Pan-Iranic ideology. The sheer amount of Pan-Iranists in that demography is wild.
Confused Islamophobic Kurd: "iSlAm Is DeStRoYiNg KuRdIsTaN"
Meanwhile:
Ataturk: staunch Secular
Shah: staunch secular
Saddam: staunch secular, untill he started losing and then ran to Islam for sympathy points
Assad: staunch secular
KRG: Seculars and slowly destroying Kurdistan
Those Kurdistan maps reaching the Persian Gulf look kinda insane, but if you really think about it, they've only really included the Lur-populated areas, and the Lurs have historically been referred to as Kurds, even if they don't identify as such today.
Some racist Turks actually pretended to be Kurds to Japanese folks, saying Japan is Kurdish land and all sorts of absurdities
This is just a whole other league of sad, honestly
@ArmeniaPic
The "Kurds out of Iran" myth is long debunked. Every genetic study ever conducted has shown that we are native to Zagros and Upper Mesopotamia.
Also the etymology of "Kurd" hasn't been established, so it would be very nice of you avoided portraying theories as fact.
Kurds in Kerkuk giving up on kurdayati, Hewler undergoing Arabization, the fighting spirit of the young generation all but gone... what successive Iraqi Governments (including Saddam Hussein) failed to do, Kurds have done to themselves in a matter of decades.
Bravo KRG...
They refer to Islam as "foreign", a religion that we've practiced for 14 centuries, but their liberal values are not only not foreign, they're the standard, and we better accept that.

Iranian Nationalists are obsessed with rewriting history in such a way that any sort of Anti-Iran sentiment, from any period of our history, is removed. I still find myself laughing at that person who suggested that Simko was fighting the Qajars as an Iranian Patriot.
If you think Hewlêr is safe, then you seem to have forgotten that Mosul was a majority-Kurdish city a mere century ago
I know, nobody talks about that, just like nobody will talk about Hewlêr once it's Arabized
@YesTheory
@ThomasBrag
Half an hour straight of Kurdish people, culture, language and hospitality, and you couldn't even show us a little respect back? Next time, take a visit to Baghdad.
To my knowledge there's no Turkish community in Wan, so it's possible that some people actually travelled there just to do this
And then they talk about brotherhood..
The "pêşî peya" (Pedestrians first) Kurdish traffic warning signs in the city of Van, was vandalised by Turks. It says “Turkey is Turkish, it will remain Turkish”.
They have a problem with every part of Kurdish identity, language, culture and existence.
@snarwani
If it's racist to be opposed to the process of demographic reengineering on your lands, then you should also tell the Palestinians to stop worrying about Israeli settlements.
Kurds need to abandon the "apology" culture we've developed among us. Far too often I see Kurds practically getting on their knees begging people for forgiveness for x and y events. While we should be open about our Nation's past mistakes, we mustn't fall into the narrative (1)

It's not out of the question that PKK attacks may have caused civilian casualties before, but PKK never deliberately target civilians, that's a fact! And they never kill nor harm people who can't defend themselves, as seen everytime they've captured Turkish soldiers.
Notice how Kurds aren't even classified under "Iranian" here. It's just to show that the Iranic classification of Kurds is relatively modern, and is really solely based on language rather than any historical foundation.
Do you think Turkish nationalists are actually aware of how their rhetoric towards Kurds is basically identical to the Israeli one aimed at the Palestinians?
Here's an example of what makes for an acceptable hijab in Iran, but our Pan-Irani friend over here still be all "aaaaaaazizam, she was killed for revealing her hair" .
Btw, he also greatly admires the Shah regime, which hardly treated us Kurds any better than the current regime
With all due respect, do Assyrian nationalists on this platform not see the irony in looking down on Kurdish culture, when their culture is like 80 % identical to ours?
Idk, just seems kinda funny to me, no hate or anything
