Sezgin Aydin is a Kurdish woman who was jailed in 1992 (when she was only 19) in Turkey for terror related charges.

I don’t know why some schools in Kurdistan teach Turkish lessons to young students. It makes sense to teach English and Arabic because the former is an international language and the latter is the first language of Iraq.
Kurdish language is banned in official places in Turkey.
