Never before have so many people who have never farmed or have any practical knowledge of farming, made their living from trying to tell farmers how they should farm. When farmers eventually get tired of nonsense legislation and diminishing profits. Ye are going to be very hungry

Pro tip for any young farmers out there who are running low on fodder, in this never ending winter, marry the daughter of a farmer who always has a surplus of good quality silage. This does take some forward planning! 🤣👍🐮🍀 #GodBlessTheInlaws

How in gods name this nonsense got past an editor and on to print is beyond me. If you put a cow in calf, you have a responsibility to that calf, a moral one if nothing else in the end. If what you are currently breeding has no financial value make better breeding choices.

When relaxing of an evening the opportunity to buy weanlings online is a dangerous thing. These are all late 23 calves, some well reared others less so. Was I mad or is there potential here? Average cost €230 each. All opinions welcome
