The love of my life passed in her sleep. 35 years together, 3 kids, 3 grandkids, and I already miss her so much. We buried her on her 55th birthday. Married 5yrs w/1 daughter. Divorced for 2yrs (dated most of that off n on). Remarried and 2 more kids. 35yrs.

Anybody else cook their bacon in the oven? Had this conversation this weekend. I used to be a pan fry purist. My largest pan only took a 1/2lb so I'm standing over the stove for 20+ mins. This is sooo much easier and I can pop it in and move on to something else.

@maggieNYT The Republicans that didn't object should be pissed at the ones that did object to the count. For hurting fund raising across the board. Maybe, more importantly, all of them, including the ones that objected should be really pissed at @SenTedCruz & @HawleyMO more the theater.

@DelfinaDino Depends are your definition of happily married. Every married couple has their ups n downs. It's not all unicorns and rainbows sprouting out of us. We had some seriously bad arguments over 35yrs. We hurt eachother and bitched about eachother. We always made up. The fun part. ❤

My mom taught me to always say I love you when parting...spouse, parents, kids, siblings or close friends...because you may not see them again a single breath later. Is this weird? I do it without thinking now.

@littlewhitty Not a Democrat. A reformed Republican that's a Independent. Stood in line over 3hrs the 1st day of early voting, 10/13/2020 inTexas, to vote a blue ballot top to bottom though. I will be happily independent in my thoughts.

@AdamKinzinger The theme. I thought it was only the past 5 yrs but I was wrong. Realized it after the ACA fiasco. Republicans warned my Cadillac plan would go thru the roof. Never did until Trump gained office. Then w/ repeals it went from $214/chk to $398/chk. Laid off in April. ACA saved us.

@Wendilynn66 Texas is beautiful. We have every type of landscape packed into one state. My wife and I would not have been where we were financially if it wasn't for moving here an eon ago. Please don't judge us or our state, as a whole, by our elected officials and their decisions.

Another way to eat the last of the tender brisket from Labor Day. Throw it on a hoagie bun with Swiss cheese & toast. Add a bowl of au jus sauce for dippin and lots of paper towels. 😋
