“We’ve dealt with construction on Colfax over the years, and it just destroys us.” Colfax BRT is a $200 million+ dollar boondoggle that Denver does not need. ($150 million of that is coming from the feds.) Businesses are closing. Vacancies are high. Traffic will be pushed into

This is the Walgreens I keep writing about. Colfax & Race. This is worse than usual. God, I want it to stay open, but how can they? They are robbed every day, all day, and no one at the city gives af. Is it the City’s intention for every business on Colfax to close???

@Saikmedi This is hilarious! I think I can guess the underlying plea: “If people keep doing their own research, checking the premises of our claims, or comparing what we say to reality, they won’t do what we want!!! Other ideas might enter the mix! I might not get my way! The horror!”

@PetermanPeter Screw getting over it. It is not ok to steal. It is not ok to steal just because the store is on Colfax. It is not OK that Denver’s “justice”system is so pro-crime that theft has 0 consequences. It is not ok for retail workers to be on their feet all day, lifting and stocking,

What words were elected representatives prohibited from uttering on the House Floor of the Colorado Legislature??? Who does that? Why is the Democrats Supermajority policing the language of their colleagues? Show the list. Compelled speech is a tactic of tyrants.

We, the minority, were given a list of words from House leadership that are offensive to the majority around illegal immigration. We demand that the majority stop silencing our voices and the voices of our constituents. #copolitics #coleg #mighty19

@SenatorBennet Respectfully, not another penny for Ukraine. I would encourage the Senate to send the message that the money train is cancelled and to bring both parties together to negotiate a peace. Take NATO expansion off the table. Secure our border. Don’t you care about the people of CO??

@bradleyforco Yep. After the last special session, I’m frankly anxious about the next round of giveaways, gimmicks and games that take more cash from our pockets, increase costs, and other lefty shenanigans under a deceptive bill title. Cut the budget. Cut our taxes. Quit abusing taxpayers.

@markpdonovan No thank you. Perhaps you haven’t seen the results of this multi-state study on UBI. Key findings for participants who received $12K for a year include: Earnings fell by $1500 Unemployed a month longer Worked less Epic fail. UBI made the poor poorer.

A lot happened in July. But, one event went quietly unnoticed. The result of largest American controlled experiment in Universal Basic Income (UBI) was released. You haven’t heard about it because the findings are terrifyingly bad. (1/12)

Now is a good time to remind Coloradans that in the 2024 Legislative Session, the Democratic supermajority passed 8 bills burdening the rights of law abiding citizens to exercise their 2A rights and DEFEATED a measure that would have made possessing a STOLEN firearm a felony.

Excellent thread tying together DEi, the “college for all” push, and the shrinking talent pool for skilled workers in maintenance/ground operations that has long term implications for the airline industry, that plays into the hands of those (WEF/UN) who want the plebes grounded.

I'm all about using what's going on at the airlines to crush DEI, and it's 100% true that DEI at the airlines is a disaster in the making. We all see that competence only should dictate employment in such an inherently dangerous environment where innocent lives are at stake. BUT!

@walterkirn This morning I watched ATW and was shocked at the reminder of the criticism of the Fed response to Katrina taking 2 days. If you haven’t seen this piece by Cynical Publius in The Federalist, it’s worth a read. The implications are not good at all.

I too am a NO on all the tax increases. The Affordable Housing sales tax initiative is regressive, will further harm local retail and is an unlimited slush fund for Housing First and NGOs. The only performance measure is spending the money.
