*clears throat and takes a deep breath* I'm so tired of seeing the good work of reporters in this state get exploited by journalists who write for elitist readers who love to shit on Mississippians as a way to suppress their own classism and racism.

Campbell McCool, seen here, was one of at least three alums who directly told IHL board members that afternoon not to hire Glenn Boyce. 11 of 12 IHL members were there that day. They all heard it. This is so messy.

Some are apparently criticizing this move? Thousands of first-dose appointments have been available across the state every week for about a month. Our newsroom has gotten calls from some private providers struggling to use their allotments. It was time.

A multi-racial crowd of at least 3,000 people packed the streets of downtown Jackson on Saturday for a Black Lives Matter protest. Some say it's the city's largest demonstration since the Civil Rights Movement.

A first-year teacher in Mississippi will take home an average of $25,500. By their 15th year on the job, that number only rises to around $27,000.

Just cracked the most beautifully branded liquor of all time. Bottled in Mississippi, distilled with Mississippi Delta rice. Highly recommend.

The @DNC sent out this email this morning, calming everyone’s concerns about whether national parties care about our home state.
