My "Try Me" Display Piece (LC #99450 ) came today. Its meant to go along the side of a play table and is basically some track and a sign nailed to a board demonstrating the sound of the then new clickety clack track. The Thomas is strung with just enough slack to reach the far end

I posted about these the other day, and they arrived today. Kinda weird that this was all that was available for a year, the only rolling stock available was A&C and the log truck sans logs, and to get switches you had to buy the medium or Percy set.

Sets from the 90s Plarail book. The first is the 1996 Thomas and Freight Cars set, the second is a made up layout, the third is the Thomas and Bulgy set (Thomas Big Set elsewhere), fourth is also made up. Part numbers are provided when available to help you

Calling it now, the "steamroller wheels" are definitely so they can incorporate the dumb loops and other roller coaster like "features" into the sets without Thomas falling off. Get ready for TrackMaster 2 2 baby
