I remember reading previews for San Andreas on videogame magazines back in 2004, and being skeptical on this game delivering three major cities. I thought that each of them was going to be way smaller and less detailed than Vice City. I wasn't ready. Nobody was.
I'm regretful to announce that I'm gonna stop posting, as I found out that my beloved and totally not political videogame GTA San Andreas, turned out to be political.
an overlooked detail of this game is the fairly realistic electrical grid. Substations are connected to transmission, connected to distribution, connected to buildings/dwelllings
you're 12. It's a rainy night both in-game and irl. You tried to jump off Mount Chiliad on a Sanchez, only to total it and now you're on foot. This is the most traumatic experience of your life so far.
the rainy countryside weather at around 20 o'clock has to be the most ominous and surreal of the entire game. Blood red horizon and messed up lighting.
