@callistoroll Honestly, by 1942 it was already too late. The biggest mistake was not to fully focus on defeating China. Not marching on Chongqing and allowing China to dig in made the war more costly and invading Indochina despite US warnings brought US interest into the conflict

Over 800.000 Japanese people lived in Manchuria. After the Soviet Invasion almost all of them were forcefully deported back to Japan or killed. If that's not genocide I don't know what is.

Very unfortunate in my opinion. The rising sun is a symbol of Japan's spirit and soul. To see artists removed from such a good looking original cover is quite a shame. I wish more artists would be willing to use the rising sun in their artworks inspired by Japan.

Kawashima Yoshiko, born as Aisin Gioro Xianyu, was a Manchu Princes who worked for the Kwantung Army as a spy. She played a major role in the foundation of Manchukuo. Her accomplishment earned her the nickname the "Joan d'Arc of Manchukuo".
