Here is Cannelle's last photo. We found a skinny and starved tiny kitten at a B&B in July 2008 and took her home, fearing she would be afraid of our giant 7 Maine Coons. But she slapped everyone, declared the house was hers and settled down for more than 15 years of happiness.

This little kitten had fallen into a manhole and was crying for help. Dex's dad spent a day and a half trying to get him out. The kitten had retreated far down the drain. Finally, with the help of a city worker, they managed to save him. He's well now. #cats #CatsOfTwiter
