When the White House announces that there is an “epidemic of violence against trans people” what does that even mean? It’s language used to signal virtue rather than describe anything with precision — and it’s coming from the most powerful office in the world.

"BBC Verify" is being pushed very hard on the nightly news, Newsnight etc Given the appalling record of so-called fact-checkers over the past few years, the creation of an official Truth Department within the national broadcaster is a mighty hostage to fortune.

"All a lockdown does is reduce infection levels for the period of time it's in force," Neil Ferguson tells the BBC. "Once you release the lockdown, infection levels start going up again."

Slightly stunned by this. A new UnHerd/Focaldata poll out today reveals that 54% of Britons aged 18-24 agree with the statement: "The state of Israel should not exist" 😶

So Patrick Vallance, chief UK scientific advisor during lockdowns, is now joining the Tony Blair Institute, which campaigns for health data passports and is funded by Oracle. It’s like they are trying to turn everyone into conspiracists!

“This doesn’t mean Farage is necessarily right — there are many well-informed people who take the opposite view — but his position is reasonable and intellectually defensible. It does not make him a ‘Putin apologist’.” @NoahCarl90 at @UnHerd :

This was an extraordinary interview. If you watch one thing today, watch this. Prof Johan Giesecke, one of the most senior epidemiologists in the world, lays out with typical Swedish bluntness why he thinks lockdowns are a historic overreaction:
