Today is a sad day. Bart Starr was truly one of the greatest, both as a quarterback and as a man. He deserves so much of the credit for five

championships. Bart, you were a special player and man, and you will be greatly missed by all of us.

Fran Tarkenton is criminally underrated. This motherfucker was
#1
in all-time passing yards when I was a kid. He’s STILL
#14
all-time despite playing 14-game seasons in an era when you could perform UFC moves on receivers all the way down the field and if the QB looked for a flag
I invented scrambling. The two best quarterbacks this year played against each other in the Super Bowl. They're both scramblers, and that started with me!

. That’s Mick Tingelhoff, my center with the Vikings. Sometimes I’d start a fight, but Mick would always finish it!
Jim Marshall deserves to be in the Hall of Fame.
He's more deserving than any other Vikings player to be in there. He NEVER missed a game in 19 years! He never missed a practice or had a down day!
A truly incredible player. So, who's ready for Jim to be inducted?
How about this? Today I got a hole-in-one on the

green at Pebble Beach! That makes a total of 5 holes-in-one, so far, in my lifetime b/t Augusta National & Pebble Beach. I shot a 75 for the day which is 7 years better than an 82 year old man is supposed to play. I'm on a roll!
In an alternate universe, I might've played for the Patriots.
After graduating, I was drafted by the Vikings, who were in the NFL, and by the Patriots, who were in the AFL.
The Patriots maybe seemed like a better deal, but I wanted to play in the NFL, so I chose the Vikings.
It's Week 1 of the 2022 football season, and over the course of the season I want to share some of my favorite stories from my career, starting with one of my biggest rivals.
"Mean" Joe Greene and I played against each other a lot.
This past Saturday I was honored to join the Minnesota Vikings as they prepared for Sunday's match-up against the Falcons.
It was great to meet the guys, and share some pre-game wisdom.

Stay tuned for my post-game reaction.
My entire office space is covered with photos from my football days. I thought I'd start sharing some of these memories with all of you. Here's the start 👇

Thanks for all of the bday wishes! I'm 82 and having the time of my life! I work everyday and I only go places and do things that I want to. And I'll be standing by to watch my

You all know I'm a fan of preparation. But today, training camps are less crucial than they used to be. Nowadays, guys train year-round. In my day, we needed training camp to bring us back to game shape, physically and mentally.
Fear causes people to draw back from situations.
It brings on mediocrity, it dulls creativity, it sets one up to be a loser in life.
Don't listen to fear.
My first job was a paper route when I was 7-years-old in DC.
After that I had a summer job every year while growing up. Then, when it came to pro football, I had jobs every off season.
All of that experience got me hooked on doing something in business that could be
Lifelong unconditional friendship. So special, so much love Francis I have been blessed to have had you in my life! happy birthday Brother

Would having it autographed help? Personalized? I think I have a

Congratulations to the legendary Tom Brady. The longer you play, the more of these “oldest” records you start to set! I was actually one month shy of 39 when I did this back in ‘78. Can’t imagine playing to age 45 like Tom wants to! Good luck Tom!
Tom Brady finishes with a league-leading 4,577 yards, passing Fran Tarkenton as the oldest QB to lead the NFL in passing yards (3,468 yards at age 38 in 1978).

The black and white photo below was sent to me by Y.A. Tittle a few years ago, signed "Better quarterback than me." I called him up after the picture came and told him that I love the picture but disagree with the statement. I really love that guy.
Sometimes it's the little things in life! Join me tomorrow, April 6 at 1PM ET for the premier of my Facebook Live show directly from my basement! Take

My soul is stirred today.
Every Hall of Fame Induction weekend, my soul is stirred. I think back on my own induction. On the inductions of my friends, my teammates. On the players currently being inducted and all they’ve accomplished.
I love this community.
