To be clear: I am critical of behavior, not persons. No human except XC is perfect, or immune to sin, & no human is incapable of repentance, reform, & virtue. I don't compromise the Tradition, but I don't use it as an excuse to condemn others when I share the same condemnation

One of the reasons why Christianity in the West is dying is because of over-educated clergy. Yes, I said "over-educated," as in "too much," "excessive," & "unnecessarily." Stop screaming at your phone (i can't hear you anyway) & keep reading. I have a point to make.🧵

The Church community here in America needs to prepare itself to receive those who are now being crushed by the "transgender" movement. We will see more & more physically/emotionally broken people come looking for God. It will not be easy for them or us, but we must obey Christ🧵

Smart people want challenging tasks, not explaining for the umpteen time that, yes, you even have to forgive 'that guy.' Parish life is boring because the Truth has been revealed a long time ago, & it's as simple as it's hard. It's real challenge isn't with intellect but virtue🧵

Some old man tips for young men: 1) Never wear shorts in public unless you are literally at the beach or the jungle. 2) Never wear short sleeve shirts. 3) Tuck your shirt into your pants & wear a belt. 4) Always carry a pocket knife, handkerchief, & comb. You can add EDC stuff🧵

The Church has relied on "average" men to lead parishes. Not intellectuals. Those with intellectual aspirations get bored with parish life & mundane tasks that keep a parish afloat. And they really get bored with the routine personal problems parishioners need help with. 🧵

So, when smart men get bored, they do dumb things, like invent heresies, create personality cults, get addicted, & sleep around. Most clergy fall not because they are secretly evil, but because parish life isn't really about all the stuff they loved in seminary.🧵
