Not sure where this narrative has come from, but it’s almost certainly not true Car balances are relative to the driver. Hamilton can tolerate mass amounts of instability. For Hamilton, a ‘stable’ car would still be one that many drivers find extremely sharp and unstable.

This weekend is the perfect example of why F1 Sprint has to go. Without it, we would’ve more likely seen what we saw yesterday and this morning for the main race which would’ve been great. With this format, it’s given the teams vastly more useful data and Red Bull are 0.4s

@F1GuyDan Hamilton in his worst 2 seasons has still managed to be within 0.05s of Russell in Qualifying and quicker over a race distance. I struggle to believe peak Sainz would be able to do that given his overall performances against Norris as a rookie and Leclerc since 2021. Great on

Tsunoda was not 7 tenths faster than Ricciardo in Australia Example as to why simply looking at numbers and averages without any additional context is totally misleading Ricciardo despite being off the pace is clearly a massive upgrade on the level De Vries was showing

He’s right to have confidence in Russell. George finished 4th in 2022 which was a very good showing. That’s his normal level, I don’t understand the obsession with constantly bashing him. Yes he finished 8th in 2023, but his actual performance gap wasn’t bad. Lewis, Max,

I might be the only pleased Hamilton supporter right now, here’s why: In Q1-Q2 George had a slight edge of 1-2 tenths but nowhere near the 3-4+ tenths from 2022-23. This track is the most anti-Lewis on the entire calendar, so to be within 0.2s of Russell who specialises on

I’d go even further and say it was the McLaren over-engineering specific driving techniques I’d urge anyone to watch his onboards and team radios from early 2021, and it’s totally abnormal and bizarre what they were asking him to do. By the end of 2022 they’d morphed Daniel

So clueless man. Ricciardo was washed due to the mclarnes characteristics. The RB characteristics suit him so hes doing well.

All fairness to Perez - after the Lap 1 incident where he picked up damage and was forced to pit, had to spend the majority of his laps in traffic hence the huge gap. It’s not a genuine pace delta
