Just tried a 'crazy' pricing hack We had around 10 new customers/day (on a good day) on a 14.99$/month plan But way more free users signing up. We sent an email offering access for 1$ for the first week, then 14.99$/month. 140 People signed up to this offer in 48 hours 😅

I think there is a huge disregard of legal stuff in the indiehacker crowd Not knowingly and not in a bad way, just because it's boring and complex ie: if you sell your SaaS in multiple countries and you are based in UE, how do you handle VAT ? I have no idea 😅

TikTok is insane for B2C businesses. 3 weeks ago we had ~40 people signing up every day (this is an app for students in 🇫🇷). Then I made a TikTok video with all the right ingredients. It got 300k views in 3 days and it's at 600k now. Since then we have 100 sign ups/day 🤯

My Google ads where killing it. I ended up setting ROAS targets. And it messed everything, it's not even spending my budget anymore 😅 Still new to this so I'll test to revert some changes and see if I can fix it. It suck because it generated a constant stream of income 🫠

What 3 weeks of vacation did for me : creativity and clarity kicked in big time it feels so good 🤯 It was maybe 3 years since I had a "real" vacation this long. Opened my laptop maybe 2-3 times in 3 weeks. #indiehackers please take some time off you won't regret it 😜

In July I had an idea for a niche site that could bring traffic to my startup site. I made 15 blog posts (AI + me). The site is in a subfolder of my main domain. So I got domain authority directly. I haven't touched it since. Once again, I love SEO :D

I'm leaving tomorrow for Thailand 🇹🇭 Can't wait but super stressed. This is my first real vacation since I started doing start-ups. I hope I will be able to rest a little. Do you guys take 'real' vacations sometimes ? Like, no computer or checking email for a few days ?
